Rogers has thought that today would be a good day to slash the prices on five of their handsets, four of which are running Android. The Acer Liquid E is now available for $29.99 (down from $49.99), the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is now $99.99 (down from $149.99), the Motorola Quench is $29.99 (down from $49.99), and the Samsung Galaxy Spica is now $9.99 (down from $79.99 and not pictured). The other handset that has gone through a price cut is Rogers' Bada-based handset, the Samsung Wave. It launched a couple of weeks ago for $99.99 and now it's $79.99. A couple of phones on Canada's Rogers has just gone through a price drop today. They're all listed below so I won't even bother listing it myself - thanks to Mobile Syrup. All of this great news is accompanied by the ZTE 636 and the Sony Ericsson MD 400 Rocket Sticks which will retail for free on a 1-year contract from now until May 1st, 2010.

Canada's Best Buy has already gave it a price cut before but the Rogers Samsung Galaxy Spica is now just $0.01 on a new 3-year contract. This is pretty amazing, especially since it's running Android - too bad it's only version 1.5 right now.

Canada's Best Buy has just released the Rogers Samsung Galaxy Spica for $29.99 on a 3-year contract. With your purchase you'll get a $75 Gift Card so that's awesome. In case you forgot, this handset has a 3.2-inch HVGA AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera, GPS / WiFi support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an 800MHz CPU, a microSD card slot, and Android (1.5, upgrade to 2.1).

Canada's Rogers has just released another Android handset and it's one that we knew was coming for a couple of days now. I'm talking about the Samsung Galaxy Spica and it's now available for $79.99 on a 3-year contract. With that contract, Rogers is offering a promo $45 price for a Voice and Data plan. Other prices include $299.99 on a 3-year contract (without the promo), $349.99 on a 2-year contract, $399.99 on 1-year contract, and $449.99 contract-free.

This handset is running Android 1.5 and packs a 3.2MP camera, GPS / Wifi support, a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a microSD card slot, a 2GB card in the box, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an 800MHz CPU. This handset should be getting upgraded to Android 2.1 in Q2 of this year. Check it out on Rogers here.

Apparently, Rogers could be launching the Samsung Galaxy two to three weeks from now. I don't really know why Rogers is thinking about launching this phone since it's just about 9 months old at this point. Anyways, this handset is rocking a 3.2-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, a 5MP AF camera with an LED flash, a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, and it's a bit behind since it's still stuck with Android 1.5. Bell Mobility already has this handset available and it's only going for $49.95 right now, so I'm assuming that if Rogers launches this handset it'll be at around the same price - or $99 since that's what Bell had it for at launch.

Update: It's official. Rogers will really be launching the Galaxy, but it's actually the I5700 Galaxy Spica and not the I7500 Galaxy that's available on Bell. At least there's some variety here. Unfortunately, this model is worse than the I7500 since the camera's downgraded to just 3.2MP. Cross your fingers though because it could launch with Android 2.0, if you don't pray enough you'll be stuck with version 1.5. [Mobile Syrup]

It's got Android on-board and it's a Samsung phone. Well, it's the I5700 Galaxy Spica and it's just been launched on T-Mobile UK [exclusively] as the Galaxy Portal. In case you forgot, the I5700 comes with a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera, and HSPA support. T-Mobile UK has released this handset for free on 18 / 24-month contracts. T-Mobile UK looks like they're set to launch a couple of amazing phones, including the likes of the HTC Bravo (above on the left), the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 (above on the right), the Sony Ericsson Vivaz (formerly known as the Kurara - bottom left), the Samsung Galaxy Spica (below on the right), and the BB Storm 2. They're all running Android except for the Vivaz and, of course, the Storm 2 which will be running S60 and BB OS 5.0, respectively, so you can see all the hype here. They're all amazing phones so it could be pretty tough to pick any one of these phones. Of course my favourite is the XPERIA X10.

At this point we already know all about this handset. The Galaxy Spica I5700 has just been made officially official by Samsung yet again. This handset runs Android and should be a Google Experience phone, and it also comes with DivX support. Apparently, this handset is already available in Europe and it should be hitting Asia and the Middle Easy fairly soon.

It looks like a new video has been spotted online and it's featuring the Android-based Samsung I5700 Spica (Galaxy Lite). I don't really have much to say about the video, so you can just enjoy it for yourself below. It's just under 5 minutes so if you have time to spare check it out.

Here's another look at the Android-based Samsung I5700 Galaxy Lite. The Dutch site mentioned that it will get an official announcement this month and that it'll cost around €350 ($517 USD). The specs are what we already know, that's: a 3-inch touchscreen display, HSDPA connectivity, Bluetooth / WiFi / GPS support, a 3.2MP camera, a microSD card slot, and Android OS 1.5.

We've been hearing about the Samsung I5700 Galaxy Lite for the past couple of weeks now. So, what you see above is rumoured to be the first photo of the Galaxy Lite. This handset will be running Android and will also have WiFi / 3G / GPS support which doesn't make it as "low-end" as I thought it was going to be. I'm now guessing that the camera is a 3.2MP sensor and the display isn't OLED. According to the rumours, the Galaxy Lite will be available as early as next month, so we'll see what happens.

Update: According to GSM Arena, this handset will be launching on Bouygues Telecom in France as the Samsung Galaxy Spica. This handset will have WiFi / GPS support and, apparently, has a faster processor than the original Galaxy. It's expected to rock the same 800MHz CPU as the Omnia II, but I believe that's unconfirmed.
