Nokia N9 and WP7-Based "Sea Ray" Not Hitting the US?

Here's an interesting piece of news, even though it's coming from an analyst. Apparently, the Nokia N9 and their first WP7 device (Sea Ray) may not even hit North America which would be pretty upsetting. Keep in mind that this is just an analyst but he could have some kind of inside information. If Nokia were to do this then they'd slip even farther down on the phone market. We'll see what happens.

HTC Panache 4G (myTouch 4G) Now Available On Cincinnati Bell

If you're interested in the myTouch 4G, erm, the HTC Panache 4G then you might want to head over to Cincinnati Bell. The US carrier actually has it right now for $199.99 on a 2-year contract. This one features a 3.8-inch WVGA display, a 5MP AF camera, a front-facing VGA camera, a 1GHz CPU, and Android 2.3 "Gingerbread" with the Sense UI. HP Pre 3 Won't Be Available On Sprint

Here's some interesting news coming from This Is My Next. Apparently, the HP Pre 3 won't be hitting Sprint which is surprising since the first two did so. Looks like HP has decided to switch it up from what Palm was doing for some unknown reason. HP could now plan to launch the Pre 3 on both Verizon and AT&T since they're the two biggest carriers in the US. It'll be easy for them to give AT&T models since it's the same ones that they'd use for Canada's carriers.

Huawei Sonic Could Hit T-Mobile USA With HSPA+

Well, well, well. Looks like the Huawei Sonic has just hit the FCC with T-Mobile AWS bands. The handset looks like it could be hitting the US carrier as the T-Mobile Sonic and also features HSPA+ support which is great. This handset should actually be a mid-end handset so having HSPA+ is actually a bonus for you. Check it out at the FCC if you're bored.

Motorola Milestone 3 (XT860) Could Hit Bell On August 4th

TechFibe has managed to get another scoop on a Bell device. It looks like the Motorola XT860 aka the Milestone 3 will be hitting the Canadian carrier on August 4th which is less than a month away. You may already know that this smartphone features a 4-inch qHD display, a dual-core 1GHz CPU, an 8MP camera, a front-facing camera, a slide-out 5-row QWERTY keyboard, WiFi / Bluetooth / HSPA support, and Android 2.3. Prices for this one are unknown right now but it should be below $149 since the HTC Sensation and Samsung Galaxy S II 4G will also be available on the carrier by then.

Bell To Launch the Samsung Galaxy Gio In August

Looks like Bell is prepping to launch yet another Samsung Android handset. This time it'll be the Galaxy Gio which features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth 3.0 / WiFi support, a 3MP camera, and Android 2.3 with the Sense UI. It's unknown how much this will cost you but it should be coming this August.
