Samsung Wave 833 Leaks With 3.5-Inch AMOLED and Bada 1.2, MWC Unveiling

Coming from Phone-OS is word on Samsung unveiling the next Bada handset as the Wave 833. This handset is reportedly packing a 3.5-inch AMOLED display, an 800MHz S3C6410 CPU, Bluetooth 3.0 / WiFi b/g/n support, a 5MP AF camera with an LED flash, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 448MB of RAM, 150MB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, and the company's own Bada 1.2 OS. Apparently, this one will be getting its grand unveiling at MWC which takes place in two weeks.

Rogers Could Actually Get the Dell Venue Pro In March

Thanks to one of BGR's tipsters we now know that Rogers in Canada will eventually be getting one of the best Windows Phone 7 handsets to date. Yes, I'm talking about the Dell Venue Pro which will reportedly be hitting the carrier in March which is just next month. This smartphone packs a 4.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5MP camera, and a slide-up portrait QWERTY keyboard. Pretty awesome stuff!

Sprint Releases the Rugged Motorola i686 For $119.99

Sprint has just released their latest handset and this time it's the Motorola Brute i686 which is a rugged flip phone. This handset sports a 2.2-inch internal display, a microSD card slot, a 2MP camera, and Military spec 810G resistance to dust, shock, vibration, high / low temperature, etc. Being a rugged phone, it is quite expensive at $119.99 on a 2-year contract. Android-Based Cowon D3 PMP Up On Amazon For $369

A new PMP has just hit Amazon in the US and you might want to take a look at it if you hate Apple. It's the Cowon D3 PMP which actually looks pretty decent. For $369.99 you get a 3.7-inch AMOLED WVGA display, 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, an HDMI output, Bluetooth support, and Android 2.1. Check it out on Amazon.

White Samsung Galaxy Tab Now Available At Rogers

It's not the biggest news of the day but you might want to know that the white Samsung Galaxy Tab is now available on Rogers in Canada. It took them long enough to release this model. Prices stay the same, that's: $499.99 on a 3-year contract, $524.99 on a 2-year contract, $559.99 on a 1-year contract, and $624.99 contract-free. Clearly, these prices are pretty high so maybe you'll want to wait for something better to come out. Check it out on Rogers.

LG Optimus V Now Available On Virgin Mobile US At RadioShack

It surfaced last week and it looks like it's now available. Yes, I'm talking about the LG Optimus V, their variant of the Optimus One, on Virgin Mobile in the US which appears to be available on RadioShack. This one's available on the US carrier right now for just $149.99 contract-free. The phone itself features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3.2MP AF camera, a microSD card slot (2GB card pre-installed), WiFi / GPS support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 600MHz CPU, and Android 2.2. HSPA+ Capable HTC Inspire 4G Hitting AT&T On February 13th For Just $99

AT&T has just announced that their Desire HD variant, the HTC Inspire 4G, will be available starting on February 13th. The most impressive part about this is that it'll cost just $99.99 on a 2-year contract. Of course, if you want HSPA+ speeds you're going to have to cough up quite a bit of money every month. If you're interested, this smartphone packs a 4.3-inch WVGA display, a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a unibody aluminum design, and Android 2.2.

"Satin Silver" Sony PS3 Hitting Japan On March 10th

Sony has just announced the "Satin Silver" colour of the PS3. It's the same colour as the original PS3 when it came in silver in case you wanted to know. Of course, there'll be two models available a 160GB version for ¥29,980 ($365 USD) and the 320GB model is ¥34,980 (USD$427). This will be available in Japan starting on March 10th. This one's likely a Japan exclusive unfortunately.

LG A160 Dumbphone Gets Announced, Already Available In Russia

LG has just announced their latest candybar handset. This one's called the LG A160 and sports some low-end specs. It features a 2-inch display, dual-band GSM connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0 support, a microSD card slot, a VGA camera, and an FM radio. Yeah, it's not much but it's great for a child. Apparently, this one's available right now in Russia for 2,490 rubies which is about €61 or $84 USD.

Samsung Teases the Galaxy S Successor, Will Be At MWC

Like they said, Samsung has just come through and unveiled their first Samsung Galaxy S successor tease to us. It's a short 31 second video and it doesn't show us much. What it does tell us is that the rumours of the Galaxy S successor looking like the Nexus S is false. Specs are still unknown but it'll be a high-end superphone. Of course, it looks thin and it may also have a chrome frame which I hope they remove. Check out another picture and the video below.
