Lenovo Announces 10.1-Inch IdeaPad P1 Tablet, Runs Windows 7

Labels: , , ,

Lenovo has just announced their latest tablet and it's actually running Windows 7 which is surprising. The tablet you see above is the IdeaPad P1 which packs a 10.1-inch display, a 1.5GHz Intel CPU, up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 64GB SSD, Bluetooth / WiFi support, 3D, a USB 2.0 port, a microSD card slot, and a 2MP webcam. The tablet also has stylus support which you might need trying to navigate around the OS.

This one's scheduled to launch in Q4 2011 but the price is unknown right now. The 2-cell battery will apparently last you 6 hours which is decent but lacking in the tablet game. You might as well wait for Windows 8 before picking up a Microsoft tablet but that's just my opinion.
