BlackBerry 9670 Style Hits the FCC?

Labels: , , , ,

Another RIM smartphone has just been spotted at the FCC by Engadget. This time it would appear to be the BlackBerry 9670 Style since it appears to have a huge hinge at the top - remember this one's a flip phone. Inside you can hopefully expect to find WiFi b/g/n support along with dual-band CDMA connectivity. Remember that RIM is holding their Developer Conference next week so maybe it'll be announced there.

Samsung SGH-i916 Gets Caught In the Wild, Looking Exactly Like the Cetus

Labels: , , , , ,

I could've had the exclusive on this photo since my buddy took the picture but it's all good. I caught the tweet last night and I was pretty surprised that it would be the first to talk about it but I just decided not to since it looked exactly like the i917 Cetus. You snooze, you lose. All that aside what you see above was snapped in Canada and it's the i916 - pictured beside a jailbroken iPhone 4.

This smartphone is rocking an AMOLED display along with the upcoming Windows Phone 7 OS. This handset should also be able to run on Rogers in Canada so you can expect it to hit AT&T in the USA if it launches there.

Don't worry folks, this handset will be the star of a few more photos in the next couple of days.

Apple's 7-Inch iPad Looks Like the iPhone 4, 11.6-Inch MacBook Air Imminent

Labels: , , , , , ,

Again, there are more rumours about Apple this morning. Shanzai has reportedly heard that the 7-inch iPad is already a "finished product" and should be launching pretty darn soon. This is pretty sad news for China who just got their hands on legit [first-gen] iPads last week. Furthermore, this iPad model is said to look more like an iPhone 4. If that's the case, make sure you don't drop it.

DigiTimes, on the other hand, is talking about another Apple device, the MacBook Air. This one states that it'll be sporting an 11.6-inch display which we've heard about before. This one should be available before the end of the year because Apple is expecting to ship 400,000 to 500,000 of these before the end of the year. Quanta should be cranking these ones out as soon as we speak.
