Samsung Gravity 2 Now Available In Deep Ocean Colour For $49

Labels: , , ,

It looks like this one slipped under the radar. The Deep Ocean colour for the Samsung Gravity 2 is now available. Unfortunately, it comes at a slight premium. The original Berry Mauve colour is available for free on a 2-year contract but you'll have to spend $49.99 for the Deep Ocean colour on a 2-year Even More plan. It should be available for free soon somewhere but you'll have to wait around for that. Check it out on T-Mobile here.

Sure, the Samsung Gravity 2 is already available but it's actually not much of an upgrade from the first model. The original Samsung Gravity looks like it's headed to Canada's Fido in the near future for $25 on a 2-year contract. Apparently, it'll be launching on March 16th, but it's not confirmed right now.

Asus Unveils PL30JT Business Notebook With Optimus Technology

Labels: , , , ,

CeBIT is already over but this new notebook from Asus was spotted with only a couple of people noticing. I'm talking about the Asus PL30JT notebook which is intended for business use. Of course, if the price is right I'd be able to get one too - considering that I recently spilled hot chocolate all over my keyboard so some of the keys aren't working right now. Enough with my life, let's get to the specs shall we?

It's packing a 13.3-inch display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Core i5-520UM CPU, up to 8GB of RAM, up to a 640GB HDD, Nvidia GeForce 310M graphics, Optimus technology, and Asus' own Turbo33 technology "which promises to 'enhance performance by up to 33%.'" The price and release date hasn't been mentioned yet, but I'm actually looking forward to it.

HP Slate Shows Off Flash and AIR On Video

Labels: , , , , , , , ,

Two new videos of the HP Slate have just been spotted on YouTube, but they were actually put up late last week. In the video it shows us that this Slate will have Flash support and it also shows off some AIR applications which shouldn't be surprising since it has the Windows 7 OS on there. Unfortunately, you'll have to use the built-in Windows keyboard which doesn't look like it'll be easy. The specs are still pretty much unknown so for now you can enjoy the videos below.

This handset (dubbed the SHW-M120S) will be utilizing a 3.3-inch WVGA (Super?) AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5MP AF camera, WiFi / GPS support, HSDPA / GSM connectivity, and the Android 2.1 OS. 9.9mm Thin Dell Adamo XPS Notebook Discontinued

Labels: , , ,

The thinnest notebook to ever hit this world has just died - or discontinued. The Dell Adamo XPS has just vanished from the Dell website and it was only available for about three months. Dell still deserves a round of applause for shocking everyone with a 9.9 mm thin notebook though. Maybe Dell will reveal an even thinner notebook in the future but for now the Adamo XPS is gone and will slightly be missed.

Labels: , , , , , ,

We already know that T-Mobile USA is planning to launch the HTC HD2 and the Nokia Nuron. Today pictures have popped up of both handsets rocking the T-Mobile branding. For the HD2's sake it just shows us the pre-installed Blockbuster app, but we already know that this means it's a T-Mobile bound handset - updated to have a T-Mobile branded one. The Nokia Nuron is the 5230 and it's clearly got the T-Mobile badge on there. Both handsets will be launching really soon.

O2 Leaks Their Future iPhone 4G Video Calling Prices?

Labels: , , , ,

Of course, everyone's expecting the next iPhone to have video-calling but nothing's confirmed - especially since it's Apple we're talking about here. O2 looks like they have just made an upgrade to their tariffs and it includes "UK video calls" and also mentions that it'll be the same price as voice calls. This is great news but it's not exactly confirmation that the next iPhone will have a front-facing camera for your video-calling needs.

Acer Working On Notebook With Frameless Body and Touch Keyboard? Calpella Notebook Launching This Month

Acer looks like they're prepping a new notebook - according to Digitimes. This notebook will reportedly be "impossibly thin" and will feature a frameless body. That's not all though. Apparently, there'll be a touch keyboard on there and it could be available as early as the second half of this year. It sounds too good to be true, but you never know what could happen.

That Acer Calpella-based notebook will also reportedly be available later this month as well which is sooner than I expected. We still don't have photos of what this notebook will look like so we'll have to wait around for that.
