Samsung SCH-W960 Handset Spotted In the Wild, Actually Not Sporting 3D?

Labels: , ,

Remember the SCH-W960 handset from Samsung? Well, it's just been pictured in the wild today and the sad part is that the screen is 0.1-inches smaller than we thought it would be. The specs list the AMOLED display as being 3.2-inches, but thankfully the resolution got a bump up to WVGA (from WQVGA). Another sad part of the phone is that the 3D capabilities aren't confirmed yet and tthey might've been referring to was just the 3D menu. Either way let's hope Samsung can clear this up.

Possible Picture Of the Nokia X9 Leaks, Probably Not -- CEO Hints at Snapdragon Phone

Labels: , ,

This concept picture appears to be making the rounds and the latest rumour states that this is the Nokia X9 - which I don't believe in the slightest. The rumour states that this handset will be packing a 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, a 12MP camera with an LED flash and 720p video recording capabilities, an HDMI port, 32GB of internal storage, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU, social integration, and Symbian^4. I don't believe that this will be what the X9 looks like - if there's a such thing - but whatever.

Update: According to Gizmodo, Nokia's own CEO hinted at a Snapdragon phone, which isn't surprising since we've heard about this before.

Update: According to Unwired View, the Nokia X2 is coming soon as well. The X2 is going to be a low-end handset that will feature Bluetooth and quad-band GSM connectivity. Nokia hasn't officially announced this handset yet.

Originally believed to be launching in April, Palm's AT&T phones could be pushed back all the way to June or even July. Let's hope it's not true - for Palm's sake.
