BlackBerry Slider 9800 "Mr. T" Finally Gets Turned On, Running BB OS 6.0

Labels: , , , , ,

We've seen this handset a couple of times now, but it's always been turned off. A new picture (above) of the handset, codenamed "Mr. T" is now making the rounds because it's turned on to reveal that it'll be running BB OS 6.0. That means that this device is as real as it gets and it'll likely get launched in Q3 of this year. This seems like a too little too late effort from RIM but maybe it's got something juicy that we don't know yet. BBLeaks has mentioned that this handset will eventually get launched as the BlackBerry Slider 9800.

Vodafone Launching the Nokia C3 and the BlackBerry Pearl 3G (9105) Soon

Labels: , , , , , , ,

The Nokia C3 will be making a trip to Europe seeing how Vodafone has just announced that they've snagged an exclusive deal for the handset. Unfortunately, it's not one of Nokia's high-end phones. This will be available for free on select contracts and it'll come in a slate grey (above) and a pink colour. It should hit the shelves soon.

Update: According to Unwired View, that's not all that's headed to Vodafone. They'll also be launching the BlackBerry Pearl (9105) 3G. This handset is the one with the traditional T9 keypad so it looks kind of awkward.
