Panasonic has just shown off their latest Toughbook but it's not a laptop this time around. This time it's an Android tablet which will likely be the most rugged one on the market. This features a 10.1-inch display, GPS, 3G / 4G connectivity, and Android 2.x. It's sad that this one might not launch with "Honeycomb" but maybe things will change before the expected release in Q4. We're also still waiting for a full spec sheet for this one.

Panasonic has announced a new Toughbook 53 notebook which is, of course, rugged. The 14-inch notebook sports a magnesium alloy case, a shock-mounted HDD, a spill-proof keyboard, and MIL-spec 810G which is good enough to withstand a few drops and shocks.

On the spec sheet, this one features Core i3 / i5 CPU options, a touchscreen LED display (1,366 x 768 resolution), possible LTE (4G) connectivity, 2GB of RAM (up to 4GB), WiFi / Bluetooth support, a multitouch trackpad, and USB 3.0 ports. The base model will be available in August for $1,599, a Core i5 model will be available in $1,899, and a touchscreen model will be available in July for $2,449.

Panasonic has just announced something pretty good for the UK if you're into the whole 3D hype. The company has announced that they're going to be releasing the 32-inch (TX-L32DT30) and 37-inch (TX-L37DT30) 3D LED TVs in May of this year. Both of these TVs are packing IPS displays so you'll be able to watch them at pretty much any viewing angle you want to. Both of the TVs also come with Viera Connect Internet access as well as social networking apps and WiFi / DLNA support. Of course, they all pack their own share of HDMI ports, three USB ports, and even a VGA. Price hasn't been mentioned yet.

The company also plans to launch their new VT30 3D plasma TVs in 42, 50, 55, and 65-inch models. They also plan to launch a whole bunch of new LCD HDTVs as well.

Panasonic has just unveiled three of their new Viera tablets at CES and they're actually set to be a TV companion. They're all Android-based and hook up wirelessly to the TV [and other devices] using Viera Connect. These tablets will come in 4, 7, and 10-inch models but the rest of the hardware is the same. Pricing and the release date are still unannounced so we'll have to wait for that.

Panasonic has just updated their own VIERA Full HD 3DTV line-up and they're all plasma displays. The new Panasonic GT25 Series will come in 42 and 50-inches and sports an MSRP of $1,699.95 and $2,099.95, respectively. They'll both be available later this month but let's briefly go through their spec sheets before we jump aboard. They both sport a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 resolution) display, VIERA CAST Internet access (streaming Netflix, Pandora, YouTube), Skype video calls (if you buy the webcam), a USB port, and it will convert your 2D content to 3D for you. Panasonic has unveiled more 3DTVs as a part of their Viera line-up and they'll be hitting Japan in late August. Dubbed the 3D Viera RT2B plasma TVs they sport an integrated Blu-ray recorder, an HDD recorder, and you'll need to use active shutter 3D glasses for the effect. These TVs will come in 42 and 46-inch models and they'll be available in Japan starting on August 27th. The pricing is officially unknown but rumour has it that the larger model will be available for the equivalent of $5,100 USD.

Everything that you really need to know is in the slide above. Unveiled at WPC 2010 (which started yesterday), Microsoft has just announced that a bunch of Windows 7 tablets (Slates) and Windows Phone 7 handsets are coming within the next year. This includes big names like: Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, Lenovo, Samsung, MSI, Onkyo, Panasonic, Pegatron, Sony, and Toshiba. Of course, you'll see HP on the list as well so the official HP Slate could be coming as well. These tablets are going to come in various shapes and sizes, you'll also be seeing different displays as well; some tablets will feature dockable keyboards, full touch, and even digital ink. I still can't help myself by saying that Microsoft is looking to go for quantity over quality right now, just slapping the Windows 7 OS on tablets - that won't work.

Of course, on the other side you have the list of manufacturers on board for Windows Phone 7. This includes: Dell, HTC, Garmin-Asus, LG, Sony Ericsson, and Toshiba. Surprisingly enough, HP isn't on the list so maybe theirs will be coming next year - or maybe they're sticking to WebOS now that they've bought Palm.

Panasonic is having a busy day today and they've just announced another rugged notebook, the Toughbook F9. This notebook will be packing a 14.1-inch LED-backlit display with a 1,440 x 900 resolution, an Intel Core i5-520M 2.4GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM (up to 6GB), a shock-mounted 320GB HDD, an optional Qualcomm Gobi WWAN chipset, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR / WiFi a/b/g/n support, a DVD burner, and Windows 7. Since it is rugged, it can survave a 30-inch drop thanks to its magnesium alloy body and there's a spill-resistant keyboard as well. This notebook will be available in the US starting on July 1st 2010, for $2,899.

If you have some money to blow or you just need a huge TV in your house then Panasonic has a TV for you. They are going to be taking orders for their huge 85, 103, and 152-inch plasma 3DTVs starting on July 1st. The largest model is said to be the world's largest 4K 3D plasma TV and we won't even bother arguing with that. The 152-inch model sports a 4,096 x 2,160 resolution (the smaller ones get stuck with 1080p HD), a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and two HDMI ports (the smllaer ones have four). You'll need a couple of people to help you with this TV though since it reportedly weighs 590kg. All three of these huge 3DTVs are expected to ship in Japan and the US sometime this Fall. Price isn't mentioned, but I hope you've been saving up for the part year or so.

Panasonic has just announced their 42 and 46-inch models of their Viera 3DTVs and they'll be hitting Japan. They'll be priced at ¥350,000 ($3,833 USD) and ¥300,000 ($3,285 USD), respectively. These 3D plasma HDTVs are set to invade the Japanese market starting on July 30th. After that date though, you can expect them to hit the US as well, but they'll likely be cheaper so that's a good thing.

Panasonic Japan has just announced one of the world's lightest notebook tablets in the world, dubbed the Let's Note CF-C1. It weighs 1.46kg with one battery and 1.67kg with two of them. This features a 12.1-inch multitouch swiveling display with a 1,280 x 800 resolution, an Intel Core i5-520M 2.4GHz CPU, a 250GB HDD, 2GB of RAM (up to 4GB), three USB 2.0 ports, an SDXC card slot, WiFi a/b/g/n / WiMAX / Bluetooth support, and Windows 7 Professional. Panasonic has mentioned that they plan to release this notebook tablet on June 25th and it'll be priced at $2,170.

Panasonic has just unveiled their latest rugged notebook tablet as a part of their Toughbook line-up, this one is the CF-19. This notebook tablet sports a 10.4-inch swiveling XGA touchscreen display, an Intel ULV Core i5-540 UM CPU, a Qualcomm Gobi 2000 chipset, aGPS / WiFi support, an MIL-STD-810G rugged grade level, and a bunch of OS options including Windows 7 Professional, XP Tablet Edition and XP Professional. Inside you'll find a bunch of different HDD and RAM options and the more of each you put inside, the higher the price goes. Of course, being rugged it'll start at a whopping £2,655 ($3,832 USD) so hopefully that's in your budget if you want it.

Panasonic has just announced two more of their TVs that will be hitting Japan in a couple of months. These are both a part of their VIERA Series and it comes in 32 and 37-inch sizes. Both of them sport a 20,000:1 contrast ratio, speakers, two HDMI ports, an SD/SDXC card slot, DLNA support, VIERA link, an integrated Blu-ray recorder, YouTube support, and LAN. These TVs also feature an HDD inside with Skype pre-installed, but you'll need to purchase Panasonic's TV camera because it doesn't come with it, which sucks. The main difference between these two is that the smaller 32-inch model has a 1,366 x 768 resolution while the larger 37-inch model has a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution.

Both of these TVs will be available in Japan starting on July 9th; they'll be going for $2,100 and $2,700, respectively.

Panasonic has just unveiled the Toughbook CF-31 notebook which looks thick enough to take a bullet. Of course, it's a rugged notebook and it's MIL-STD-810G compliant with a magnesium alloy case to protect it from drops, shock, water, and whatever else you decide to throw at it. This notebook packs Intel Core i3 / i5 CPU options, a 13.1-inch XGA LCD display, a 160GB HDD, WiFi / Bluetooth support, and integrated Intel HM55 graphics.

You can upgrade what you find inside of this notebook so that it features discrete ATI Radeon HD 5650 graphics, WiMAX, Gobi 2000 chipset, GPS support, a webcam, a backlit keyboard, a SmartCard reader, a fingerprint scanner, and locking systems for the HDD and the battery. Apparently, the battery will be able to last 10 hours on a single recharge. This notebook is now available for a low, low price of $3,800. It should hit the website anytime now.

Panasonic has just introduced two more notebooks as a part of their Toughbook line-up. The CF-T8 is above, while the CF-52 is below. The Toughbook CF-T8 sports a 12.1-inch touchscreen display, an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.6GHz CPU, a 250GB shock-mounted HDD, Bluetooth support, the intergrated Gobi mobile chipset, WiFi b/g/n, an 8-hour battery life, and Windows 7. The CF-52, on the other hand, sports an Intel Core i5 2.53GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB shock-mounted HDD, WiFi / Bluetooth support, optional WiMAX, and the Gobi 2000 chipset from Qualcomm. These updates are available now, but I'm struggling to find them.

Panasonic is planning to launch two more 3D plasma HDTVs over in Japan. They'll be a part of their expanding VIERA line-up and it will come in 58 (TH-P58VT2) and 65-inch (TH-P65VT2) models. Both of these 3D plasmas come with a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution, a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, VIERA link, an Ethernet port, VoD, YouTube / Skype / DLNA support, and four HDMI ports. They'll be priced at $6,100 and $7,500, respectively, and there's one pair of 3D glasses in the box. If you want to buy more glasses you'll have to buy them for $110. Both of these 3D plasmas are hitting Japan on May 28th.

It looks like Panasonic has just priced and dated their upcoming 3D plasma HDTVs. They all feature a Full HD resolution, a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and VIERA Cast WiFi along with Skype support. Of course, for all of these 3DTVs you'll need Active Shutter Eyewear to see 3D and there's only one in the box. Unfortunately, if you want to get more they cost $149.95 separately.

The 50 (TC-P50VT25) and 54-inch (TC-P54VT25) models will be available in the week on May 3rd and they'll be available for $2,599.95 and $2,999.95, respectively. The 58 (TC-P58VT25) and 65-inch (TC-P65VT25) models will be available later on in June 2010 and they'll be priced at $3,399.95 and $4,299.95, respectively.
