Motorola Sage Revealed By the FCC (and Bluetooth SIG) On Its Way To AT&T, First Picture Pops Up

Labels: , , , , , , ,

Thanks to the FCC, a new Android phone may be headed to AT&T as the Motorola Sage. This handset is going to feature WiFi / Bluetooth support, aGPS, a digital compass, quad-band EDGE connectivity, and HSDPA / HSUPA compatibility. Of course, it's running on bands that could work on Rogers in Canada as well, so you never know. We might get love up North too.

Update: According to Unwired View, the handset pictured above is the Motorola (MB508) Sage. This is a basic phone which sports a 3.1-inch touchscreen display with a 320 x 480 resolution, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and Android 2.1. This picture was just spotted at the Bluetooth SIG here. That's all we know about the handset so far. It seems like that square on the phone could be an optical trackpad of sorts. Nothing is confirmed that the MB508 is the Sage but the image spotted on the Bluetooth SIG is named Sage.jpg so that's a clue.
