O2 Launching Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus In April

webOS fans in the UK might be weeks away from getting their next handset. O2 will reportedly release the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus sometime in April. The price hasn't been mentioned, but they're going to be the exact same models as the Verizon one - besides the fact that they're GSM-compatible.

Marvell Shows Off $99 Moby Tablet Prototype Running Android 1.6

This morning, Marvell showed off a tablet prototype that was running Android. Let's hope that it gets the upgrade to at least version 2.0 when they release it. This tablet is being powered by an ARM-based Armada CPU so it's fully-capable of playing 1080p video. Of course, Marvell themselves aren't making the tablet, but they're hoping that they can push this tablet out by the end of the year.

Update: According to Engadget, this will be known as the Moby tablet and it'll launch for $99 which is really impressive. Especially considering that it'll supposedly have Flash support, WiFi / Bluetooth, an FM radio, GPS, 1080p video playback, and both Android and Windows Mobile OS's. 

Apple To Refresh Mac Pro Desktop PCs In June? 27-Inch Cinema LED Monitor As Well?

Clearly, the Mac Pro refresh didn't take place last Tuesday but the latest rumour states that the Mac Pro refresh will be taking place sometime in the next couple of months - right around June. At the same time, Apple will be looking to launch their 27-inch Cinema LED monitor as well and that display will be directly from their 27-inch iMacs so it'll be sporting a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution. Let's hope that no problems happen with that large display.

Neofonie Shows Off Their 11.6-Inch WePad Tabet, Runs Android

A company called Neofonie has just shown off their attempts at a tablet and they're looking to call it the WePad. Yeah, that's right. This tablet will be packing an 11.6-inch touchscreen display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU, integrated Intel GMA 3150 graphics, two USB 2.0 ports, a webcam, a flash card reader, and a 6-hour battery life. This tablet will be running Android and will have access to the Android Market and the WePAD App Store - whatever that is. The price wasn't mentioned, but it things work out we'll see this launch somewhere later this year.

HP Slate Priced and Expected In June, Atom CPU Guts

It's unconfirmed right now but the latest word going around is that the HP Slate will be available for 400 Euros ($546 USD) which is pretty good if they're trying to undercut the iPad. The Slate is also rumoured to be packing an Intel Atom CPU along with Flash support, USB 2.0 ports, Windows 7, a memory card reader, and a webcam on the back. These specs may beat the iPad on paper but how would it fare in real life is the real question. This Slate will reportedly be launching before September in Europe but some people will get it in June so they've still got some touching up to do.

Motorola Milestone and XPERIA X10 Hitting India Next Week!

If you live in India you should consider yourself pretty lucky. Next week, India plans to launch the Motorola Milestone (above) and the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 (below) which are two great phones. Of course, they're both running Android which is another plus. They'll reportedly both be available for 30,000 INR ($660 USD) unlocked. The Milestone should be available starting on March 22nd and the XPERIA X10 should be available starting on March 26th.

Samsung's Tablet To Make Calls, Have 3G / 4G, and Run Android

The latest unconfirmed rumour states that Samsung's tablet that will be launching later this year will be running on Google's Android OS. The CPU will reportedly be an Intel Atom and it could have integrated 3G along with 4G connectivity. The rumours also state that their tablet will make calls, let's hope that it has a front-facing camera for Skype calls though.

Dell Releases the Vostro 230 Slim Tower and Mini Tower Desktop PCs

Dell looks like they've just pushed out their latest desktop PCs for the business environment. They've just put up the Vostro 230 Slim Tower and the Mini Tower which are both now available for $389 and $299, respectively. Of course, these are highly upgradeable and you can put an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 3.0GHz CPU CPU, up to just 4GB of RAM, up to 2TB of HDD storage, and Nvidia GeForce G310 / GT220 graphics. IDTI Shows Off Their 21.5-Inch Multitouch Full HD Display, Priced At $300

IDTI looks like they're making their best efforts in making a Full HD multi-touchscreen display and that's what you see above. This monitor measures 21.5-inches and has digitizer technology. You can actually rest your palm on the screen and the screen won't register it as a touch which is pretty neat. You'll be able to scoop this one up for just $300 whenever they launch which, I think, is an amazing deal. There's a video below if you're really interested.

RIM's BlackBerry OS 6.0 Leaks Out In Pictures?

Could what you see above be a small glimpse of what the BlackBerry OS 6.0 will look like? The latest rumour states that, yes it is. Of course, it's unconfirmed and CrackBerry points out that it looks familiar to the "concierge app that was shown off at DevCon and again in a recent RIM held webinar. Of course, since it's not running on an actual device this could be just a fake. 

Virgin UK Launching inTouch Max GW620, Samsung Galaxy Portal, XPERIA X10, and HTC Desire!!

Virgin Mobile kicking off the day real nice for the UK folks out there. They have just announced that this will be launching the LG inTouch Max GW620, the Samsung Galaxy Portal (which is the I5700 Galaxy Spica with Android 2.1), the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10, and the HTC Desire. All of these phones are pretty impressive and they're all running Android which is pretty cool. I live in Canada and I hope that I can get my hands on the Desire in the future!

T-Mobile USA Hopes To Launching iPhone This Year Or Next Year

According to the Financial Times, T-Mobile's handset line-up could be getting a bit juicier in the next year or so. Apparently, T-Mobile is looking to launch the iPhone later this year or next year. This means that Apple would have to cook up an AWS-compatible next-gen iPhone since the current one doesn't have support for it. We don't know if Apple is considering this right now, so it's basically just a big rumour right now.

HTC A9292 aka Supersonic Shows Up In Another Inventory System

The HTC A9292, which is believed to be the Supersonic, looks like it has found its way into another inventory system. The latest rumour states that we'll see this at CTIA next week and it'll be debuting on Sprint to be their first 4G / WiMAX phone.

Orange UK Snags White Model of the XPERIA X10

Orange has just announced that the white model of the upcoming Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 will be exclusive to their carrier whenever they decide to launch it. We already know that the XPERIA 10 is hitting Vodafone as well so I guess this means that you'll only be able to get a black model from them. This handset should be available in a couple of weeks, starting in April. If I were to get this phone, I'd get it on Vodafone because I want all my devices to be black.
