Koodo Mobile has just released their latest BlackBerry which is the Bold 9790. The smartphone is available right now for $250 on the Tab and for $400 contract-free. Koodo Mobile To Release the LG Optimus One Skype Edition Soon

Looks like yet another Android handset is headed to Koodo Mobile in Canada. It's going to be the LG Optimus One Skype Edition which should be similar to the original model. Of course, one exception is that it'll have Skype pre-loaded on the device so you'll be able to video chat with its front-facing camera. Look out for it soon where it should cost you $175 contract-free.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace has managed to find its way into Canada on Koodo Mobile and Telus. This handset sports a 3.5-inch display with a 320 x 480 resolution, an 800MHz CPU, a 5MP camera, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 support, and Android 2.2 with the Touchwiz UI. Telus and Koodo Mobile have just released their latest BlackBerry from RIM. They both now have the BlackBerry Curve 9360 up for sale if you're interested. The Telus model is available for $49.99 on a 3-year contract and $349.99 contract-free, while Koodo is offering it for $150 on the Tab and $300 contract-free. Koodo Mobile Releases the iPhone 4 In Canada

It was rumoured up to this day and it's now official and available. Koodo Mobile has released the iPhone 4 in Canada. This smartphone is now available on the carrier for $160 on a 3-year contract and $500 on the Tab. The cheapest plan for this one is $65 monthly and there's also an $80 monthly plan. It looks like Koodo Mobile in Canada will really be launching the iPhone 4 sometime in the future. The smartphone will be available in 16GB and 32GB models, and in black and white. Pricing is unknown for this one right now but it could be $500 on the Tab or $160 on a 3-year contract which would actually be pretty darn good. Plans, though, seem to be expensive at $65 and $80 monthly.

White BlackBerry Curve 3G Hitting Koodo Mobile Soon

PocketNow has managed to get their hands on the photo you see above and that's a white BlackBerry Curve 3G. Judging by the logo on the screen, it'll be hitting Koodo Mobile in Canada. Specs should be the exact same as the other models that are already available. This one should be available soon and should be priced the same as the other colours on the carrier.

Nexus S Now Available In Canada On Videotron, Telus, and Koodo Mobile

The first carrier in Canada to release the Nexus S? It was Videotron and they're willing to give you one if you fork over $149.95 on a 3-year contract or for $529.95 contract-free which is a bit high. The smartphone features a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, a 1GHz CPU, a 5MP AF camera, WiFi / Bluetooth support, hotspot capabilities, NFC, and stock Android 2.3 "Gingerbread". The next two carriers to release the smartphone were Telus and Koodo Mobile via Best Buy. Telus is offering the smartphone right now for $174.99 on a 3-year contract and Koodo wants $274.99 on the Tab - even more expensive than Videotron. Check it out on Best Buy or Telus. More carriers will have the phone available before the end of the day so just wait a bit.

Nexus S Hitting Canada On April 14th, Still Unconfirmed

There's no press release on it right now but Mobile Syrup has reportedly been informed that the Samsung-built Nexus S is going to hit Canada on April 14th. The price is unknown right now but it'll be available on a slew of carriers including: Rogers, Bell, Telus, WIND Mobile, Mobilicity, Fido, Koodo Mobile, and Videotron. If you've been waiting to get your hands on NFC and stock "Gingerbread" then you might want to wait for this one.

Koodo Mobile Releases the BlackBerry Curve 3G With OS 6.0

It looks like Koodo Mobile has just released their latest smartphone and it's the BlackBerry Curve 3G (9300). This handset features a 2MP camera, Bluetooth / WiFi support, a microSD card slot, and sports OS 6.0 on board which is different from the other carriers which have them with OS 5.0. That's actually pretty great news. This one's available on Koodo right now for $300 contract-free or for $150 on the Tab.

Future Shop Says Fido and Koodo Mobile Are Getting the Nexus S Too, Available In April

Future Shop in Canada has just mentioned something that sounds pretty good. The Samsung-built Nexus S that runs Android "Gingerbread" is heading to a bunch of different carriers in Canada. So far we already know that the Big 3 along with Videotron and WIND Mobile will be getting the smartphone but it's also reportedly headed to Fido and Koodo Mobile as well. That's some great news! Furthermore, the Nexus S will reportedly be available in early April and pre-orders will actually start on Monday, March 21st! Very nice.

Koodo Mobile has just announced one piece of information that you might need if you're looking for a budget Android phone. The LG Optimus One will be hitting the Canadian carrier this Wednesday, March 2nd. This one should be available for around $200 contract-free so it could be right around $50 on the Tab. The Optimus One features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 600MHz CPU, a 3MP camera, WiFi / Bluetooth support, a microSD card slot, and Android 2.2 with a custom UI.

An internal screenshot (below) shows that Koodo plans to launch a new BlackBerry, we just don't know when. It's going to be the Curve 9300 which have been available on the Big 3 for a couple of months now. Price is unknown for this one and I won't bother guessing.

It looks like Koodo Mobile is almost ready to release their next handset, the LG Breeze (GW520). This handset will reportedly be hitting the carrier on November 15th for $200 contract-free or $50 on the Tab. This handset sports a 2.8-inch display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3MP camera, a microSD card slot, and Bluetooth support.

In addition to this news, Mobile Syrup has pointed out that the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 actually won't be hitting the carrier until January 2011, which is sad to hear.

With all of the announcements yesterday you may have missed something. Well, we definitely did. Koodo Mobile actually released a handset yesterday, the LG Cookie Plus. This is available for $25 on the Tab and $175 contract-free. This isn't their best handset, but it's a decent mid-level one that they have now. Good enough for the teens unless they're into the while BlackBerry craze.

First off, the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 will be hitting the carrier in the future, but the exact release date and pricing is still unknown. The second handset that the carrier will launch is the LG Cookie Plus which is already available on Telus. This handset sports a 3-inch touchscreen display, a 3MP camera, an FM radio, Bluetooth 2.1 support, and some social integration. This should be launching for $175 contract-free but the release date is still unknown. Look out for both of them soon though.

The LG GW520 Breeze has just been spotted in Koodo Mobile's own inventory systems. The official price and release date hasn't been mentioned yet but it could be hitting the carrier for $20 on the Tab. The GW520 Breeze features a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3MP camera, a microSD card slot, and Bluetooth support. This is a pretty good handset if you're a person who likes to text message a lot. Of course, if you're already on Telus then you can pick it up - it's been available since April.
