Second-Gen Sony Vaio P Now Available For Pre-Orders, Starts At An Expensive $900

The second-generation Sony Vaio P (don't call it a netbook) is now up for pre-orders on Sony Style in the US. The base model will cost you $899.99 (the VPC-P113KX) and it's expected to ship by June 25th. Sadly, this model is using the old Atom Z530 1.6GHz CPU, but it does have an SSD drive (up to 128GB). Inside you'll have 2GB of RAM, WiFi b/g/n, and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR support. Check it out here if you're interested.

Samsung Galaxy S Hitting T-Mobile On July 21? Teaser Site Launches and Could Also Hit Verizon

There's a new rumour going around that T-Mobile USA will be launching the Android-based Samsung Galaxy S on July 21st. Of course, it is just a rumour right now, so take it with a grain of salt. If you're interested, this handset now has a teaser site (here) and there's another rumour going around that Verizon will get this smartphone too. This smartphone definitely has a chance of going head-to-head with the iPhone 4 - but it'll definitely lose sales-wise.

Asus Eee Top ET1610PT Nettop All In One PC Hits Japan On June 10th

Well, a new nettop all in one PC has just hit Japan and it's another Eee Top from Asus. This one's being called the ET1610PT and it's packing a 15.6-inch display, an Intel Atom D410 1.66GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD, WiFi b/g/n, six USB ports, a 5-in-1 card reader, and Windows 7 Home Premium. This nettop all in one PC is going to be available on June 10th (this Thursday) for ¥52,800 ($580 USD), but you'll have to pay extra for the touchscreen display.

Two Possible Android-Based Motorola Phones Leak Out, the Goldfinch and the Bei Hai

Motorola has just let two of their upcoming handsets slip out thanks to the Bluetooth SIG. First off is the one you see above, dubbed the Goldfinch. The Android-based Goldfinch (8208) features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3MP camera, an FM radio with RDS support, Bluetooth support, and an ISDB-T receiver (used in Latin America and Japan). The other handset is below, the Bei Hai is likely headed to China. It'll be equipped with a 5MP camera with (720p) HD video recording, Bluetooth 2.1 support, WiFi / GPS, and an HDMI port. This will likely be running Android but it's not confirmed yet.

HTC Intruder Hits AT&T's Inventory, Possibly the Aria / Liberty Running Android

A new Android handset has just hit AT&T's inventory and it's the HTC Intruder. Things are getting really confusing right now and apparently the Intruder is the Aria / Liberty. This handset is supposedly going to hit the carrier for $129.99 on a 2-year contract and a very expensive $699.99 contract-free. Now we'll just have to wait and see exactly what this handset is because a lot of people (including me) are very confused right now.

Sony Unveils VAIO EA and EC Series Notebook and VAIO J Alll In One PC

Sony has just unveiled two more notebooks, the 14-inch VAIO EA and 17.3-inch EC Series. Both notebooks start at $700 and they feature a bunch of different bright colours - as seen above. Both notebooks feature an Intel Core i3-350M CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, optical drives, HDMI / USB ports, and Windows 7 Home Premium. Sadly, neither model have Blu-ray options and has Sony's own instant-on OS. They'll both be shipping in July, but if you're interested then you can pre-order them right now.

Sony has also let another all in one PC slip out. Dubbed the VAIO J, this features a 21.5-inch touchscreen Full HD (1080p) display, Intel Core 2010 CPU options, discrete Nvidia GeForce graphics, up to 8GB of RAM, WiFi / Bluetooth support, a webcam, a Blu-ray drive, and Windows 7. This all in one PC starts at $900, but if you want to spend more then you can put a Core i7 CPU and 8GB of RAM inside.

Samsung Corby I5500 Gets Official, Hitting Italy Next Week

We've heard about the Samsung I5500 already and it's just been made official as a part of their Corby line-up. This sets itself apart from all of the other Corby's by running on the Android 2.1 OS with Samsung's own Touchwiz custom UI. Of course, it'll be an inexpensive handset and it'll feature a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, a 2MP camera, Bluetooth / WiFi support, a 600MHz CPU, 100MB of ROM, and a microSD card slot (1GB card in the box). This is set to hit Italy next week for €199 ($238 USD).

Lenovo Now Selling Their 11.6-Inch IdeaPad U160 Notebook For $1,049 With Core i5 / i7 Options

Lenovo is now offering their IdeaPad U160 notebook for just over $1,000. This notebook is actually pretty small but packs Core i5 / i7 CPU options, which is pretty good. The lower-end $1,049 model will get you an 11.6-inch display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Core i5-520UM 1.06GHz CPU, integrated Intel GMA HM55 graphics, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB HDD, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR support, WiFi b/g, a 6-cell battery, a multitouch trackpad, and Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit).

The slightly higher-end model will run you $1,149 and it packs a Core i7-640UM 1.2GHz CPU along with a 500GB HDD and Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). Check it out on their official site here.
