HTC Wildfire S Hits the FCC, Burns With a CDMA Passion

The HTC Wildfire S is a pretty good mid-end handset and it looks like it could be hitting a few more possible carriers in the US. The handset has just been spotted at the FCC with CDMA connectivity which is good enough for Verizon, Cricket, MetroPCS, and Virgin Mobile. This would be a pretty good addition to any of those carrier's line-ups. Check it out at the FCC.

If you're interested in the myTouch 4G Slide then you can actually buy it right now. The smartphone can be yours right now for $199.99 on a 2-year T-Mobile USA contract. This one packs a 3.7-inch SLCD WVGA display, 4GB of storage, a microSD card slot, 768MB of RAM, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, an 8MP AF camera with a dual-LED flash, a front-facing camera, a dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon CPU, and Android 2.3 with the Sense UI. Sharp FX Plus With "Froyo" Headed To AT&T

Walmart has just leaked something that should be headed to AT&T. Yup, it looks like it'll be the Sharp FX Plus which looks like it'll feature Android 2.2. This 3.2-inch smartphone with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard should be launching soon and should actually be cheap as well. It might be something good for you text messaging folk out there.

Unknown Samsung Device With a 1,280 x 768 Display and Android "Gingerbread"

Looks like yet another Samsung device has leaked and it's the SHV-E120S. Specs are mostly unknown right now but what we do know is actually weird. Apparently, the device will have a high-end WXGA (1,280 x 768 resolution) display, a mid-end single-core MSM8250 Snapdragon CPU, and Android 2.3. Hopefully that CPU gets upgraded to a dual-core before it gets released. We're also hoping that this is a smartphone with a high ppi display which would be a great device.

Samsung Galaxy S II With WiMAX Hits the FCC, Headed To Sprint

Lately there's been a lot of news regarding the Samsung Galaxy S II and today is no different. The SPH-D710 has just been spotted at the FCC with CDMA and WiMAX connectivity which is great news. This will, obviously, be Sprint's Galaxy S II variant in the US. Look out for this one as early as next month. Check it out at the FCC.

Samsung Galaxy Gio Also Headed To Virgin Mobile Canada

We already know that the Samsung Galaxy Gio is headed to Bell in Canada but it looks like it'll hit another carrier as well. Since this is jist a mid-end handset it should be no surprise that Virgin Mobile will be carrying it as well. This is coming from a Mobile Syrup tipster and could be available starting on August 4th.

Samsung i677 Could Be a Portrait QWERTY Slider With WP7 "Mango"

Looks like yet another WP7 smartphone has leaked today and it's quite unique. Apparently Samsung could be prepping the SGH-i677 which will sport a portrait slide-up QWERTY keyboard. Specs are unknown for this one right now but it'll reportedly run "Mango".
