AT&T Launching the HP iPAQ K3 Obsidian as the iPAQ Glisten For $230, Expected In a Couple of Weeks

It's now official. AT&T in the USA will be launching the HP iPAQ K3 Obsidian as the iPAQ Glisten. Yes, awkward name, but that's not all. It'll be available for an overwhelming price of $229.99 on a 2-year contract after rebates. This handset has: a 2.5-inch AMOLED display, a 3.1MP camera, 256MB of RAM, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g / Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR / aGPS support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and WinMo 6.5. This smartphone will be available in a "couple of weeks."

MSI Unveils 4.3-Inch MT-V887 PMP With 720p Support

MSI has just unveiled yet another PMP, this time it's the MT-V887. This PMP sports: a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with a 480 x 272 resolution, a Rockchip RK2728B CPU, an FM tuner, and support for 720p and the H.264 codec. Unfortunately, the price and release details haven't been mentioned yet.

First Look at Canada's Telus LG IQ Handset, Packing WinMo 6.5 and Snapdragon

Alright, so by now we know that Telus will be getting the LG IQ, which was once codenamed the LG Monaco - and was supposed to run WinMo 7 way back when. So yeah, you want to know more don't you? Well, there's really nothing more I can tell you.

What you see above is our first look at the handset live in the flesh and it's running WinMo 6.5 with Snapdragon internals - the 1GHz one. The display is a 3.2-inch touchscreen, there's a 5MP shooter on the back, and it has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Pricing and release details still haven't been mentioned.

Nokia Now Available On Canada's Rogers For $99

On Friday, I was able to play around with the dummy unit of the Nokia N86. Well, it looks like Rogers is now selling the handset for $99.99 CAD on a 3-year contract. I believe this handset is a part of their "webphone" line-up which consists of a couple of handsets under the $100 mark. This handset comes with the nice 8MP camera, a 2.6-inch AMOLED display, 8GB of internal memory, and even 3G connectivity. Check it out on their site here.

Sony Ericsson Already Conjuring Up the XPERIA Pureness 2?

It likely won't surface until sometime next year, but we're hearing that Sony Ericsson is already looking on producing a successor to their XPERIA Pureness (above). This handset will reportedly drop even more features and may even have removable buttons, which is kind of awkward. Maybe the whole thing will just be a piece of transparent glass. I'm hoping they include eye-tracking...

Canada's Rogers Releases the Samsung SGH-A886 As the Forever For $79

It looks like another Samsung handset is headed to Canada, thanks to Rogers. It'll be the Samsung SGH-A886, which will be launched as the Samsung Forever. This handset features: a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display, 3G connectivity, a 2MP camera, Bluetooth / aGPS support, a microSD card slot, and the TouchWiz UI. Unfortunately, we don't know the release details at the moment.

Update on November 26th: According to Engadget Mobile, this handset is now available for $79.99 CAD on a 3-year contract. Check it out here.

Fujitsu LifeBook MH380 Netbook Passes FCC With Intel "Pine Trail" N450 CPU

A new netbook has just been spotted at the FCC. It's the Fujitsu LifeBook MH380 and it has: a 10.1-inch display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, WiFi b/g/n and, best of all, an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N450 CPU. This CPU is a part of Intel's upcoming Pine Trail line-up that we should see in early 2010. Check out the FCC filing here.

Nokia 6788 Passes FCC With 1900MHz Band, Still Headed To China Mobile

It was just a month ago when we heard about the Nokia 6788. We know that it's headed to China Mobile and it looks like it just passed the FCC. The good news here is that you'll be able to use it in the USA since it has a 1900MHz band, but there's nothing too overwhelming with anything else you'll find. Check out the FCC filing here.

Nokia Officially Announces the 6700 Slide and 7230, Expected In Q1 2010

Nokia has just officially unveiled the Nokia 6700 Slide (above) and the Nokia 7230 (below). Both of these handsets will be available in Q1 2010 for 160 Euros ($239 USD) and 100 Euros ($150 USD), respectively. The 6700 Slide has: a 5MP camera, a 2.2-inch QVGA display, an FM radio, a microSD card slot, and 3G connectivity. I believe the Nokia 7230 has the exact same specs, but has a 3.2MP camera and a 2.4-inch display.


An MTV-Branded Phone Passes the FCC, Headed To Vodafone and China Unicom

What you see here may be a handset with an ugly colour, but it's actually interersting - to a certain extent. This is the ZTE F870E and it actually appears to be an MTV-branded phone. All that we know about this handset right now is that it has a touchscreen display, an FM radio, Bluetooth support, and a 3MP camera. It should also be headed to both Vodafone and even China Unicom. UK Getting the Nokia X6 This Friday, November 27th

Nokia UK has finally announced who will be getting the Nokia X6 first. Of course, it'll be available in the UK first via Phones4U this Friday, November 27th for free on a £35 ($58 USD) monthly contract. You can also get it free off contract on Nokia UK's store (for pre-orders right now), but it'll cost you £449 ($746 USD), which definitely isn't cheap.
