Fujitsu Announces the LifeBook T580 Notebook With Four-Finger Multitouch Display

Fujitsu has announced their latest notebook that sports four-finger multitouch. The LifeBook T580 hasn't been spotted at IFA yet but we do know that there's a 10.1-inch resistive multitouch display (stylus in the package), an Intel Core i5 CPU, optional 3G / GPS support, and an 8-hour battery life. This will be available in November but the price is still unknown. Apparently, this is a "slate-beating" device, but I don't really see what happening.


LG E720 Optimus Chic and P500 Optimus One Make An Appearance At IFA

It looks like another Android handset has invaded IFA 2010 and it's coming from LG. The E720 aka the Optimus Chic has shown up and it's right beside the P500 which is being called the Optimus One. The E720 leaked a couple of days ago so we know that it should sport a 5MP camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 3G / WiFi support, a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 600MHz Qualcomm CPU, and Android 2.2. The Optimus One, on the other hand, sports a 3MP camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 3G / WiFi support, and Android 2.2. Launch and price details are still unknown.

Samsung Galaxy Apollo Shows Up On Best Buy Canada, Hitting Telus Very Soon

Telus is taking their sweet time on releasing the Samsung Galaxy Apollo and Best Buy just couldn't wait any longer. On their site (here and here) they've put up the still unreleased Android smartphone and they've pretty much confirmed the pricing. It should cost you $49.99 on a 3-year contract and $249.99 contract-free. This handset should be available in the very near future, a couple of hours / days from now.

3 UK Releases the BlackBerry Curve 3G (9300),

3 UK has relased a new smartphone and it's the BlackBerry Curve 3G (9300). Of course, it's free on a 2-year contract where you'll have to pay at least £25 monthly. In case you forgot, the Curve 3G packs a 2.4-inch display, a 2MP camera, 256MB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, an optical trackpad, WiFi 802.11n / Bluetooth support, GPS, a 1,150mAh battery, and BB OS 5.0. It'll be getting an upgrade to OS 6.0 in the future but it's unknown exactly when that will be.

LG's 0.29cm Thin OLED 3DTV Launching In March 2011 For £6,000 Or $9,000?

As expected, the world's slimmest OLED 3DTV was being shown off by LG at their IFA booth. Measuring just 0.29cm thick, the rumoured release date is said to be in March 2011. The picture on the TV looks amazing and it's sporting a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution. The rumoured price tag for this OLED 3DTV is said to be £6,000 and $9,000 USD. Samsung i5510 Gets Spied Out At IFA, Slide-Out QWERTY With Android 2.2

Vodafone's own booth showed off a new mid-end Android handset coming from Samsung. Dubbed the i5510, it sports a touchscreen display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 5MP camera, Bluetooth 3.0 support, WiFi / UMTS connectivity, a microSD card slot, and Android 2.2. Samsung Hub mentions that it's running stock Android but that certainly looks like the Touchwiz UI. The launch date is still unknown right now but it could be going for around €200 ($257 USD) unlocked.

Best Buy Canada Now Taking Pre-Orders For the BlackBerry Torch

If you live in Canada and your eyes light up when you see the BlackBerry Torch then you now pre-order one at Best Buy. You can choose your carrier (Rogers, Bell, Telus, Virgin Mobile) but you'll actually have to get off your chair and head to a Best Buy store to put a $50 deposit for the smartphone. It'll be launching on the four carriers on September 24th so it's still three weeks away. Check it out on Best Buy for more information.

Samsung Galaxy Tab To Hit Sprint With 3G and 4G Connectivity?

Coming from one of Boy Genius' sources, the Samsung Galaxy Tab that was just unveiled could be hitting the US on a 4G carrier. Yes, I'm talking about Sprint. Of course, this isn't exactly surprising seeing how the CDMA Galaxy Tab did leak out earlier this week. Boy Genius has added that this tablet will be a 3G / 4G device which would be amazing. Let's just hope that the price isn't that expensive.
