Telus Finally Releases the Samsung Galaxy Apollo For $49.99
It took a bit longer than I expected, but Telus has finally released the Samsung Galaxy Apollo. This Android-based handset sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a 240 x 400 resolution, a microSD card slot, a 3MP camera that can record 720p HD video, WiFi support, GPS, an FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Swype pre-installed, and version 2.1 of the OS. This is available right now for $49.99 on a 3-year contract, $149.99 on a 2-year contract, $199.99 on a 1-year contract, and $249.99 contract-free which isn't too bad. Check out on Telus.

T-Mobile UK Releases the Android-Based Samsung Galaxy Apollo
If you're interested in the Samsung Galaxy Apollo and you live in the UK then you can now get one. On T-Mobile UK they're offering the handset for free if you want to pay £20 monthly for an unlimited plan. This is a pretty good deal unlike when you buy other smartphones where the monthly prices are higher. Check it out on T-Mobile.

Samsung Galaxy Apollo Shows Up On Best Buy Canada, Hitting Telus Very Soon
Telus is taking their sweet time on releasing the Samsung Galaxy Apollo and Best Buy just couldn't wait any longer. On their site (here and here) they've put up the still unreleased Android smartphone and they've pretty much confirmed the pricing. It should cost you $49.99 on a 3-year contract and $249.99 contract-free. This handset should be available in the very near future, a couple of hours / days from now.

Telus Bringing the Samsung Galaxy Apollo To Canada Before the School Season
Okay, so a bunch of people have been waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Apollo in Canada but the wait could be over soon. In the next couple of weeks, Telus will be launching the Android-based smartphone and it will be available just in time for the "Back to School" season. The Apollo packs a 3.2-inch AMOLED display, a 5MP camera that will record 720p HD video, Swype, WiFi support, and Android with the Touchwiz UI (likely version 2.1). Seeing how the carrier already has the HTC Desire it should cost less than that judging on the spec sheet.

Something from Samsung is headed to Telus in the future and it looks like it could be another Android handset. The picture above is definitely hinting that it will be the Samsung Galaxy Apollo, which is a pretty decent handset. It won't stack up to the Galaxy S Vibrant on Bell, but the Galaxy Apollo could be a good mid-end Android handset for the carrier. Look out for it soon.

We just heard that the SHW-M100S from Samsung will make its way out of Korea but it's actually the I5800 / I5801. It also looks like one of the first carriers to offer the Samsung Galaxy Apollo (I5801) will be Orange UK. This handset is confirmed to feature a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3MP AF camera, an FM radio, WiFi 802.11n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, 3G connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot, and Android 2.1. Check it out on Orange's site here.

Samsung M100S From Korea To Launch As the Galaxy Apollo Somewhere Else

Samsung looks like they're going to be releasing another Android-based handset that'll take the Galaxy naming. This is going to be the Galaxy Apollo and it has actually hit Asia already. Engadget points out that this handset is the SHW-M100S that hit Korea about two months ago. As a refresher (and I need one too), this handset packs a 3.7-inch display, a 5MP camera, and WiFi support. This handset will be released "soon" but we don't know when or where - price is unknown as well.
Sadly, Samsung is also working on the M120S, which sports a Super AMOLED display along with Bluetooth 3.0.
