Something from Samsung is headed to Telus in the future and it looks like it could be another Android handset. The picture above is definitely hinting that it will be the Samsung Galaxy Apollo, which is a pretty decent handset. It won't stack up to the Galaxy S Vibrant on Bell, but the Galaxy Apollo could be a good mid-end Android handset for the carrier. Look out for it soon.

Another Android-based smartphone from Samsung is about to hit Germany. This time it's the Samsung i5800 which is going to be released as the Galaxy 3. This smartphone features a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display HSDPA connectivity, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 3.0 / aGPS support, a 3.2MP AF camera, a microSD card slot, Android 2.1, and access to the Android Market. This handset will be available in Germany for €299 ($386 USD) before the end of this month.

In the UK, another carrier is lining up to get the Samsung I5800 / I5801 also known as the Galaxy Apollo - T-Mobile. The specs are all below but the main ones include: a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a 240 x 400 resolution, a 3MP AF camera, 3G connectivity, an FM radio with RDS support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, aGPS support, Bluetooth 2.1 / WiFi b/g/n, 1GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 1,500mAh battery, DivX / XviD support, and Android 2.1 underneath Touchwiz 3.0. This styling shouldn't be all that surprising if you're similar with Samsung's phones. It looks like they're going to have two different models of their I5800 Android handset. The first one is above and it's already available on Orange France (in black or white), dubbed the Galaxy Naos. The Galaxy Teos is below and just sports a slightly different face. Both of these handsets sport the same spec sheet: a 3.2-inch WQVGA capacitive touchscreen display (240 x 400 resolution), a 667MHz CPU, WiFi b/g/n / HSDPA connectivity, aGPS, a microSD card slot, a 3MP camera, a 1,500mAh battery, and Android 2.1 underneath the Touchwiz UI.

As expected, Samsung has unveiled a bunch of new handsets at CommunicAsia that will hit the market later this year. First up is what you see above, the Wave 2 (S5250). This handset is going to be cheaper than the original Wave and it'll also be Bada-powered. Below is a picture of the Wave 2 Pro (S5530) which packs a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. There's four more handsets below so don't miss them.

Samsung has also unveiled two more WinMo 6.5 powered handsets, the Omnia Pro 4 (bottom left) and the Omnia Pro 5 (bottom right). The former is actually sporting a touchscreen display and will be available sometime in July in Europe, CIS, and Southeast Asia, the latter won't have a touchscreen display but it'll be available in August in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, India, and Latin America. The Omnia Pro 4 sports a 2.62-inch display with a 320 x 320 resolution, dual-band (900/2100MHz) 3G connectivity, a 3.2MP AF camera; the Omnia Pro 5 features a 2.4-inch display with a 240 x 320 resolution, a 2MP camera, and tri-band (900/1900/2100MHz) 3G bands. Of course, both of them feature an FM radio, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g / Bluetooth support, and aGPS. Look out for all of them soon.

We just heard that the SHW-M100S from Samsung will make its way out of Korea but it's actually the I5800 / I5801. It also looks like one of the first carriers to offer the Samsung Galaxy Apollo (I5801) will be Orange UK. This handset is confirmed to feature a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3MP AF camera, an FM radio, WiFi 802.11n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, 3G connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot, and Android 2.1. Both the Samsung I5800 and the I5801 has just hit the GCF (Global Certification Forum) so they could launch fairly soon. Of course, they still need to hit the FCC. The GCF tells us that this Android-based smartphone has quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE / dual-band UMTS/HSDPA (900/2100MHz) connectivity. You should already know that this handset has WiFi b/g/n along with Bluetooth 3.0. The rumours state that this handset will get launched as a part of Samsung's Galaxy line-up.

A new Samsung handset has been making the rounds this morning since it has just been spotted on YouTube, thanks to HowardChui.com. What you see is said to be the upcoming Samsung I5800 / I5801 (first spotted two weeks ago) and it could get released under their Galaxy Series. The handset is said to pack a touchscreen display (240 x 400 resolution is unconfirmed), a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot, WiFi 802.11n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, 3G connectivity, and the Android 2.1 OS. It looks like it could be an inexpensive Android handset since it's sporting a similar design to their Corby line-up. Who knows when this will hit the market.

Apparently, the Samsung Galaxy 3 has just been spotted thanks to a UA Profile. Unfortunately, it looks like whatever this handset is (the Samsung i5800 / i5801) it'll be packing a weird 240 x 480 resolution along with Android. Maybe it's like a light version of a current Samsung Galaxy, but nothing is really known right now. This same handset has already gotten a WiFi Alliance certificate along with a Bluetooth SIG filing - it has Bluetooth 3.0 on board. More specs and details on this handset should spill out soon.
