Like the title says, it looks like the Huawei Ideos X3 has just been approved by the GCF. This phone officially features tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity along with UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA 2100MHz. We heard about this phone in February so it should feature a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 support, a 3.2MP AF camera, a front-facing camera, a 600MHz CPU, and a 9.9mm thin body. Interesting stuff, I wonder when it'll actually be available.

Something has just snuck through to get its GCF certificate and it's the Dell Venue and the Dell Venue Pro. The first handset is the Android-based model with no QWERTY keyboard, while the second is one of the best WP7-based handsets to date. Both of them feature quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE along with tri-band UMTS/HSDPA 900/1700/2100 MHz connectivity. Now all we have to do is wait for that Venue to launch in North America.

It looks like the GCF has just approved another handset from HTC and it's going by the model number PC92100. This has the potential to be a high-end smartphone since it does have WiFi b/g/n support along with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE / dual-band UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity and 900/2100MHz 3G support. Since this blog is based in Canada it's quite sad to hear that this exact model is destined for Europe / Asia since it has WCDMA bands. Furthermore, we don't know what OS it's running so it could be either Windows Phone 7 or Android (or Brew?).

We've seen it leaked before and this time this one's coming from TMo News again. The smartphone above is the Schubert aka the HTC HD7 which could be headed to T-Mobile USA. This smartphone should feature specs that we already know: a 4.3-inch display, a 5MP camera, 576MB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and Windows Phone 7. What's unknown right now is if this will have HSPA+ connectivity, which would be great. Things should get cleared up very soon though. We'll be seeing this one tomorrow at the New York Microsoft Event, which is Thanksgiving here in Canada. The release date is unknown right now but it should be available for $199.99 on a 2-year contract like all high-end smartphones are.

Update: According to The Unwired, this smartphone has just got approved by the GCF so this pretty much confirms that it'll be at the event tomorrow!

HP confirmed that WebOS phones would be hitting the market in early 2011 and it looks like the first Europe-bound one has just been spotted. Being tested at the FCC was the P102UEU smartphone and this could be headed to Europe as the Pre 2. Of course, North American models should be on the way as well. The big rumour going around is that this will actually be the Pre 2 and it should, of course, come with the new version of WebOS (2.0).

An update in Engadget's post mentions that this smartphone that the FCC tested is another slider so it should have a QWERTY keyboard of some sort. On the back there's an 1,150mAh battery (which is the same as the Pre / Pre Plus). The back cover of this smartphone is also said to be the same so it'll be Touchstone compatible (wireless charging for the win). The best part about all of this is that the CPU is said to be clocked at 1GHz. The exact chip is unknown right now but it could be TI's OMAP3600 Series which you can find in the DROID X and DROID 2. Update: According to The Unwired, this handset has just been approved by the GCF as well. It's the exact same model which has bands for Europe.

The WP7-based LG E900 has just hit the GCF with some good news or some bad news if you live in the wrong places. The E900 reportedly features dual-band UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (900/2100 MHz)  / quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity which means that it'll work in Europe and Asia - not North America. Slash Gear points out that if you live in North America you shouldn't be too upset because the LG C900 has already been spotted with AT&T branding - and it features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The GCF has just pointed out another WP7 smartphone and this one could be called the HTC 7 Trophy. Obviously the "7" could be hinting at this one running on WP7 but we've known for a while that the HTC Trophy would be a WP7 device so that wouldn't be surprising. Specs are unknown right now but it does feature quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE / dual-band UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (900/2100 MHz) connectivity. This means that this model that has gotten approval would be compatible for Europe and Asia but not for North America. Samsung's Galaxy Tab Android tablet should be made official later this week at IFA and it looks like there's some more clues as to what this tablet will offer. The tablet has hit the FCC with the model number SHW-M180S and it sports dual-band 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz WiFi b/g/n support. The GCF has pointed out that the same tablet sports quad-band GSM / HSDPA connectivity, Check it out at the FCC and at the GCF (Global Certification Forum).

The GCF (Global Certification Forum) has just approved another Android-based handset, the Huawei Ideos U8150-B. This smartphone will be running on version 2.2 "Froyo" of the OS so that's off to a pretty good start. Sadly, the rest of the specs are just mid-level. The Ideos will pack a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, 256MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM, a microSD card slot, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE / quad-band UMTS/HSDPA (850/1700/1900/2100MHz) WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 support, GPS, a 3.2MP camera with a dual-LED flash, and a 1,200mAh battery. We don't know when it will be available but there was a listing up on Clove last week and it listed the handset for £169.36 ($265 USD) unlocked.

GCF has just approved of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini Pro for Europe and North America. There's really not much to tell you here, but any carrier in either region could get it right now. For North America we have AT&T in the US and Rogers, Bell, and Telus in Canada.

Both the Samsung I5800 and the I5801 has just hit the GCF (Global Certification Forum) so they could launch fairly soon. Of course, they still need to hit the FCC. The GCF tells us that this Android-based smartphone has quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE / dual-band UMTS/HSDPA (900/2100MHz) connectivity. You should already know that this handset has WiFi b/g/n along with Bluetooth 3.0. The rumours state that this handset will get launched as a part of Samsung's Galaxy line-up.

I have no clue what the Dell M01M001 is but it has just got approved by the GCF. This handset is rocking quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE along with dual-band UMTS / HSDPA / HSUPA connectivity so it's definitely a phone of some sort. Unfortunately that's all we know about this handset so far so let's hope it runs either Android or Windows Phone 7.

It looks like the HTC XV6975 has just been approved to hit the market, according to the GCF. The HTC XV6975 is Verizon's model number for the HTC Touch Diamond 2, so it looks like it will make its debut on there. Look out for another announcement regarding the price and exact availability of this handset in the, hopefully, near future.

Update: According to Unwired View, the HTC XV6975 could either be the Touch Diamond 2 or the HTC Whitestone (below). A recent Engadget Mobile post, has also mentioned that it will be the HTC Whitestone as well, so it looks like they're unsure too.
