Verizon Releases the Low-End Samsung Gusto Flip Phone

Verizon has just released another basic flip phone from Samsung. This is going to be the Gusto and it features awesome things like a VGA camera. It's actually available right now on their website where you can scoop one up for $19.99 on a 2-year contract (why didn't they just make it free?) if you want to. This'll be great for old people or your kids' first cell phone.

Nokia X3-02 Leaks Out For the First Time, Some Rumoured Specs Too

Another rumoured Nokia device has just leaked out and it's another version of the Nokia X3. Dubbed the X3-02 (for now at least), this handset has a touch-sensitive 2.4-inch display, a 5MP fixed-focus camera, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth support, and supposedly handwriting recognition along with WiFi support as well. Unfortunately, these specs are unconfirmed right now so we'll have to see what happens in the near future. The X3-02 should be hitting China.

US Cellular Getting the HTC Desire (SLCD and All) On August 27th

US Cellular has just announced another Android smartphone that they'll be getting. On August 27th, the carrier will be releasing the HTC Desire which should be sporting Sony's 3.7-inch Super LCD displays. Specs are already known and have been for just about the whole year since it's the exact same as the Nexus One's except for the design change and the Sense UI. It's only about two weeks away - price wasn't mentioned.

Android-Based Motorola Ming A1680 Pretty Much Official With Stylus Support

Thanks to Motorola's own dev site (here), the Motorola Ming A1680 is just about official. It has a full spec sheet list up and it tells us everything you need to know. The Ming A1680 features a 3.1-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, WiFi (WAPI) / GPS / Bluetooth 2.1 support, a 5MP camera, 256MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM, a 624MHz Marvell PXA935 CPU, a microSD card slot, and apparently Android 1.6. Of course, the pictures also show that the handset will sport a stylus along with handwriting recognition so it'll be great for Chinese characters. This should be available in the China soon - the price wasn't mentioned.

Samsung Announces the SHW-A250 Touchscreen Phone

Samsung has introduced another touchscreen phone in their line-up and it's looking like this one will be inexpensive. The SHW-A250 will feature a capacitive touchscreen display, a 2MP camera, a microSD card slot, and T-DMB TV Tuner, and Bluetooth support. Of course, since it's a mid-end handset it's sporting Samsung's own Touchwiz UI. The release date and exact pricing wasn't mentioned but we should know about those two key features soon.

LG U+ (LG Telecom) Leaks and Confirms the Samsung Galaxy U, Will Be Available Soon

About a week ago we first heard about the Samsung Galaxy U (SHW-M130L) and it looks like it has just leaked again thanks to LG U+ (LG Telecom). This handset is scheduled to hit the carrier in the next couple of days and will feature a 3.7-inch AMOLED display, a 1GHz CPU, access to the App Market, LG's OZ store, and Android 2.1. Look out for it overseas soon.

Archos 32 Internet Tablet (or PMP) Hits the FCC

Last week we got word of Archos' new 32 Internet Tablet since J&R were taking pre-orders for the PMP. Well, it has just made an appearance at the FCC. The FCC really doesn't tell us much but there is one thing that's actually surprising. Apparently, the circle on the back of the PMP / Internet Tablet is supposedly the speaker which could be a let down for some. Check out the FCC filing here if you really want to.

Motorola XT806 Android Flip Phone Handset Pops Up In China

Back in April this handset poked out as the Motorola ZN4 and it has surfaced again in China as the XT806. This Android based smartphone will feature a 3.6-inch touchscreen display (probably resistive) with a 480 x 854 resolution, a TI OMAP3430 600MHz CPU, a microSD card slot, an FM radio, Bluetooth / WiFi support, and a 5MP camera that'll record 720p HD video. We don't know which version of Android it'll be running so we'll have to wait around for that. This should be coming with a stylus but nothing is really confirmed right now.
