Motorola Ming A1680, MT810, and XT806 All Sport Android and Flip Covers, All China-Bound

Labels: , , , , , ,

Motorola has just announced three not-so-traditional flip phones that will be invading China with Android on-board. From left to right there's the A1680, the MT810, and the XT806. We'll go in order, so the first one will be headed to China Unicom. This handset reportedly features a 3.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, Chinese WAPI WiFi support, a 5MP camera, GPS, and handwriting recognition. The one in the middle is the MT810 and this one features a 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen display, a stylus, a capacitive touchscreen cover, TD-SCDMA connectivity, 720p output, CMMB mobile television support, and the OPhone 2.0 OS. The last one is the XT806 and it features GPS, 720p HD video recording, CDMA EVDO and GSM connectivity, and Android 2.1.

Motorola XT806 Android Flip Phone Handset Pops Up In China

Labels: , , , ,

Back in April this handset poked out as the Motorola ZN4 and it has surfaced again in China as the XT806. This Android based smartphone will feature a 3.6-inch touchscreen display (probably resistive) with a 480 x 854 resolution, a TI OMAP3430 600MHz CPU, a microSD card slot, an FM radio, Bluetooth / WiFi support, and a 5MP camera that'll record 720p HD video. We don't know which version of Android it'll be running so we'll have to wait around for that. This should be coming with a stylus but nothing is really confirmed right now.
