Nokia N97 Mini, E72, E55 Spotted in Retailer Photo; Bunch of Other Unknown Nokia Phones Too

Labels: , , , , , , , ,

This photo shows a bunch of Nokia handsets; we know some of them, but not all of them. Clearly, the Nokia N97 Mini is in the photo and so is what looks to be the Nokia E72 and the Nokia E55. There's also a handset (below) that looks similar to the 5800 XpressMusic but it actually has a silver chrome outline - similar to what the iPhone has. The handsets at the top of the screen look to be a bunch of mid-end Nokia handsets that we should probably see Nokia announce at this year's Nokia World. If you're interested, check out the link below.

BlackBerry 9700 Also Spotted in AT&T's Inventory System

Labels: , , , ,

This morning I reported that the BlackBerry Bold 9700 was spotted in Bell's inventory. Well, not to be shown up by a Canadian carrier, a recent AT&T inventory system shot has just been leaked. And, yes, it's the BlackBerry 9700. No word on a price or release date here.

New Google Chrome OS Screenshots? The Best Looking Ones Yet

Labels: ,

Of course, like all of the supposed Google Chrome OS screenshots we've seen so far, there could be improvements made. However, these are probably the best-looking screenshots we've seen so far. The dock is nice and it has a clean UI. The clock taskbar seems a little bit small for the display on a netbook, but don't forget that this isn't an official picture of the Chrome OS. Take a look at the link below for more photos.

White BlackBerry Bold Coming Soon?

Labels: , , ,

According to a York University professor, RIM is now using their "advanced wireless testing facilities." He also mentioned that RIM just sent them a BlackBerry Bold... in white. Above is a picture of the BlackBerry Bold's keyboard and below is a shot of the back of the smartphone. Personally, I think the black one looks better, but I know people out there would love to get their hands on a white model.

Supposed iPod Touch With Camera Caught on Video, Could it Be Real?

Labels: , ,

There's not much to say here, but the iPod Touch that popped up yesterday was being called fake because of a "poor Photoshop job" has just popped up again. This time it's in a video, which makes things a bit more believable. Would Apple really change the position of their camera? Looks like it. Obviously, this isn't confirmed yet.

Palm Pre Hits WiFi Alliance With NAM GSM Support

Labels: , , , , , ,

Surprisingly enough, a new version of the Palm Pre has just made its way through the WiFi Alliance. This time it has the 850/1900MHz UMTS/HSPA bands, which would be perfect for AT&T in the US and Rogers in Canada. But, it could actually be hitting Telus [since they're launching their new HSPA network soon] or, you know, Bell's new HSPA network. Bell is launching it on the 27th of this month, so we'll just have to see what happens in just under two weeks.

LG GT950 and Nokia 6350 Possibly Headed To AT&T

Labels: , , , ,

The latest rumour says that AT&T will be launching the LG GT950 and the Nokia 6350. The LG GT950 has: a QWERTY keyboard, a touchscreen display with a 480 x 800 resolution, and a 5MP camera. Nothing else is known about this handset, not even the price.

The other handset that will possibly be making its way to AT&T is the Nokia 6350. This flip phone has a 2MP camera and a QVGA display. Just like the LG handset, the price and exact release date are still unknown.

HSPA BlackBerry Bold 9700 / Driftwood Spotted in Bell's Inventory

Labels: , , , , , , ,

Remember the T-Mobile branded BlackBerry 9700 / Driftwood that we saw 4 days ago? Well, it looks like the same BlackBerry Bold 9700 has just been spotted in Bell's inventory system. It has HSPA support, so it could be one of the first smartphones to launch on Bell's new HSPA network. I'm definitely excited to see more news about this.
