It's been a long time coming but finally Telus has released the Nokia E72. This smartphone is running on the S60 OS and sports a 2.4-inch display with a 240 x 320 resolution, a 600MHz CPU, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 5MP AF camera with a flash, a front-facing camera, and WiFi / GPS support. Check it out on Telus here where it's going for $99.99 on a 3-year contract, $249.99 on a 2-year contract, $299.99 on a 1-year contract, and $349.99 contract-free.

It looks like Telus has just leaked the pricing for their upcoming Nokia E72 smartphone. The S60-based smartphone looks like it'll be available for $99.99 on a 3-year contract and $349.99 contract-free. The E72 should be available on July 11th, so it'll be hitting Canada in two weeks.

Even though the Nokia E73 Mode is already out in the US - thanks to T-Mobile - it looks like Telus will be sticking with launching the Nokia E72. Of course, we've known this for a while. Now we know that Telus has decided to launch the smartphone on July 11th which is a Sunday. The price is still unknown but we do know that the smartphone features a 2.4-inch display with a 240 x 320 resolution, a 5MP AF camera with a flash, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS / WiFi support.

The latest leak confirms that it'll be Canada's Telus that will get the Nokia E72. As rumoured, this handset will be available in the next six to eight weeks. Price isn't mentioned, but we should find out everything we need to know in the next couple of weeks or so.

Malaysia will be getting first dibs on the Nokia E72 White Edition later this month. There's really not much left to tell you. It's expected to be priced at around $327 worldwide, so at least we have a general price point. There's a contest going on, so check out the quote below from Unwired View.

If you live in Malaysia, Tahiland, Vietnam or Singapore, you can win the new Nokia E72. Just upload “a creative photo of yourself all dressed in white” and then tell Nokia “why you have a passion for white.” To enter the contest you have to register via the Nokia E2 White Edition website. Registrations end on April 22 (that’s tomorrow), so you should hurry up.

We knew it was coming and the Nokia E72 is now available in a new Amethyst colour, which is essentially sort of purple. This handset features regular specs and it's going for $419 unlocked. Right now it's only available in their flagship stores across the US so you can't purchase it on their site - for now, at least.

Nokia USA is now selling the Nokia E72 smartphone! It's available here for $469 USD, and it's a significant upgrade over the E71. This smartphone comes packed with: a 5MP camera, an optical d-pad, HSPA support, and S60 3.2. This smartphone is now available here.

Somewhere in Europe, Nokia is confirming that the Nokia E72 is on sale for around €350 ($524 USD) unsubsidized. This is the clear successor to the Nokia E71 and features an upgraded 5MP camera and an optical trackpad. Other features include: a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a microSD card slot, aGPS / WiFi / Bluetoothe support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and quad-band GSM / HSDPA / HSUPA connectivity. Let's hope it hits the US before the year ends.

Well, it looks like the successor to the Nokia E71 has just made its way to Amazon. The Nokia E72 smartphone is now available for pre-orders on Amazon for $469 USD. I don't want to delay you from getting yours now, so check out the official listing on Amazon here.

Yes, that's right. Tomorrow Nokia will be releasing 72 Nokia E72's in Jakarta - yes, a pre-sale event. Apparently though, you have to already own an E-Series Nokia device to attend this event. The E72 is the successor to the Nokia E71 and it has: a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a 5MP camera, a microSD card slot, an FM radio, quad-band GSM / HSUPA/HSDPA connectivity, an optical trackpad, WiFi / aGPS / Bluetooth support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB 2.0 connectivity. We don't know the price tag right now, but we're hearing that it'll launch for 350 euros ($500 USD). We'll know all the details soon, since the pre-release starts and ends tomorrow.

On Vodafone's website three new handset are up for pre-order, the Nokia E72 (here), the LG GM750 (here) and the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 (here). The first two handsets are expected to be available next month (October) and the XPERIA X2 is expected to be available in November. Like we heard, the XPERIA X2 will be exclusive to Vodafone for a while. Unfortunately, the price on these three handsets haven't been mentioned. On the Fone Arena link below, there is a couple photos of the upcoming smartphone from Nokia, the E72. It's the direct successor to the Nokia E71 and it has a 5MP camera and an optical trackpad. Check it out below!

This photo shows a bunch of Nokia handsets; we know some of them, but not all of them. Clearly, the Nokia N97 Mini is in the photo and so is what looks to be the Nokia E72 and the Nokia E55. There's also a handset (below) that looks similar to the 5800 XpressMusic but it actually has a silver chrome outline - similar to what the iPhone has. The handsets at the top of the screen look to be a bunch of mid-end Nokia handsets that we should probably see Nokia announce at this year's Nokia World. "That's right, the E72 has just won its FCC badge, offering full HSDPA on the 850 and 1900MHz bands in addition to quadband EDGE and HSPA 2100 for those times when you find yourself out of the Western Hemisphere." Basically, Engadget said it best. Other specs - of the Nokia E72 smartphone - include: a 5MP camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an integrated compass, and a new optical trackpad! Excited yet? We should hear which carriers will have this soon - and the prices of course.

The Nokia E72 was leaked earlier this morning in a promo video on YouTube and the 5530 was leaked in early May and was supposedly the 5900 XpressMusic. Well, Nokia has just official unveiled both of the handsets in a Connection 09 event in Singapore. The E72 is the E71 successor and it has: a 5MP camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an integrated compass, 10.2Mbps HSDPA, and an optical pad. The Nokia E72 will be available in Q3 for €350 ($489 USD).

Next up is the 5530 XpressMusic, which was also revealed at the event. It's a downgrade from the old 5800 XpressMusic, but it does have: a 640 x 360 resolution touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera with an LED flash, a 3.5mm headphone jack, EDGE connectivity, and WiFi. If the earlier rumours are correct, the 5530 will also have: a 2.9-inch display and FM radio. The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic will be available in Q3 as well, for €199 ($278 USD).

Look at that! It's the successor to the E71, the Nokia E72. It was just found in a promo video on YouTube, thanks to Espoo's corporate account. The Nokia E72 has: a 5MP camera, improved voice control, and a possibly optical mouse - instead of the d-pad. Everything else is unknown about the smartphone, so I'll have more information in the future. Check out the video below!
