Samsung Galaxy S II To Hit Canada In Early Q3, USA To Follow?
There's two superphones I'm waiting for this year: the HTC Sensation and the Samsung Galaxy S II. We know nothing about the first one launching in Canada yet but it's obvious that the Galaxy S II will eventually find its way to the Great White North. During a Nexus S event this morning, Samsung's VP, Paul Brennan, stated that the Galaxy S II will likely launch in early Q3 (September). That's great news but it is quite a lengthy wait. Furthermore, Canada may reportedly get this device before the US does which would be extremely shocking.

Apple Could Release Their HDTV This Year, Or Maybe Next Year
There's a new report that Apple will be unveiling a new product this year. We heard about it last year and the rumour is back again. Apple could be planning to release an HDTV of their very own sometime this year. Of course, this report is unconfirmed right now so you can definitely chalk it up as a rumour. I'm sure that if Apple does release a new TV they'll persuade you enough to get one. Don't wait around for it though, because it could launch next year if things don't work out.

Nokia's First Windows Phone 7 Handsets To Be the W7 and W8

It tells us absolutely nothing about Nokia's future with Windows Phone 7 but their first two devices running on Microsoft's mobile OS will reportedly be the W7 and the W8. Apparently, Eldar Murtazin got a hands-on with said devices and they're still in prototype form - of course. The W7 supposedly features a Qualcomm chipset and an 8MP AF camera with a flash on the back and since it's a Nokia phone, it should be a pretty good sensor. The W8, on the other hand, shares a resemblance to the Nokia N8 (pictured above) but hopefully they make it look a bit better this time around. Hopefully, these leak soon and maybe we'll be seeing these launch before Christmas this year.

Acer Unveils and Releases Two New 3D Monitors
Acer has just unveiled two new 3D-capable monitors to the world and they come in 23.6-inch (HS244HHQ) and 27-inch (HN274H) models. They should be available right now if you look hard enough with price tags of $450 and $689, respectively. Sadly, for you to see the 3D on the monitors you'll need those dorky Nvidia 3D glasses.
The smaller model packs 2ms response time, a 120Hz display, and a 12,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio; the larger monitor features three HDMI 3D inputs, a DVI-D / VGA port, a built-in IR emitter, and a 100,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Some pretty good specs from both of them but they're pretty expensive.

Bloomberg is reporting something great if you're still waiting for the white iPhone 4 for some reason. Apparently, Apple could be planning to ship this white model in the next few weeks so I'm assuming it'll be sometime in May. With rumours of the next iPhone being delayed until at least September, maybe you might want to pick one up if you don't feel like waiting.
