Motorola Olympus Hitting AT&T In Q1 With Tegra 2 and Android 2.2 With Blur

Labels: , , , , ,

We've heard about the Tegra 2 powered smartphone before and Android and Me has just got even more information. It's going to be the Motorola Olympus but, wait, we heard that already. According to what they're hearing, this will be hitting AT&T in Q1 2011 and possibly with just Android 2.2.1 on-board - along with MOTOBLUR. I'm hoping that it's running Android 2.3 "Gingerbread" because Froyo will be quite old by then. They do have a lot of time before then so things are subject to change. Apparently, this smartphone will look similar to the DROID X but it'll be a bit smaller - lining up with what we heard it'll sport a 4-inch display. Below is just a little something about the Olympus which is in pre-production.

ITG xpPhone On Sale For As Little As $666, Maybe That's a Sign.

Labels: , , ,

We've been hearing about this "smartphone" for over a year now and it looks like ITG has finally released the xpPhone to much less-than-mediocre fanfare. The 3G model with Windows XP Embedded is available right now for $732, the 3G model will cost you $798, and there's even a model going for $666 which does not have 3G and runs DOS instead of Windows XP. I don't think anyone should really be interested in this one because it's not that big of a deal unless you want some sluggish performance. Check it out on the official website here.
