HTC Titan Hits AT&T On November 20th For $199

Labels: , , , , ,

AT&T themselves have just leaked the release date for the HTC Titan. Apparently, the 4.7-inch monster will be available on November 20th for $199.99 on a 2-year contract. The display is, unfortunately, only WVGA so the ppi is actually pretty bad. If you're 7-feet tall though, this may be the perfect phone for you.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime Launching In December With the Tegra 3 For $499

Labels: , , , , , , ,

We already heard that Asus made the decision to delay the Eee Pad Transformer Prime launch until December but it actually still won't launch with Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich" Today they've given us more details on the tablet and it'll be available initially with Android 3.2 "Honeycomb". However, the company mentioned that it'll get an OTA update very soon after the release with Android 4.0 so you can look forward to that. The tablet will be available in a 32GB model for $499, while the 64GB model will be $599; the keyboard dock will cost you an extra $149. That's a pretty great price when you compare it to the iPad 2.

Specs for this one include: a 10.1-inch Super IPS+ display with a 1,280 x 800 resolution, a powerful Tegra 3 CPU, 1GB of RAM, GPS support, an 8MP camera, a front-facing camera, a USB 2.0 port, an SD card slot, an 8.3mm thin body, and a 12-hour battery life. If you just can't wait for the next iPad then you can put this on your Christmas wishlist.

HTC Ville Rumour Says That Sense UI Will Destroy Android "Ice Cream Sandwich" In April

Labels: , , , ,

BGR has just picked up quite the exclusive scoop on an HTC phone that you should see sometime in 2012. The HTC "Ville" is rumoured to be launching in April 2012. This smartphone is said to pack a mediocre 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display but it makes up for it with the rest of the spec sheet. Apparently, it'll house a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon CPU, an 8mm thin body, HSPA+ support, Beats Audio, a 1,650mAh battery, and Android "Ice Cream Sandwich" with the Sense 4.0 UI.

That spec sheet seems pretty good right now but it'll be a hard sell with HD displays and quad-core CPUs taking over mobile phones in 2012. Furthermore, HTC is putting their Sense skin over top of the sexy "Ice Cream Sandwich" so you might want to pick up a Galaxy Nexus is you don't want to get slowed down.
