WIND Mobile Releases the Galaxy Nexus, White Curve 9360, and Bold 9790

Yup, WIND Mobile has just released three new smartphones. It's the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the white BlackBerry Curve 9360, and the Bold 9790. Respectively, they'll cost you $249 on the WINDTab+ and $599 outright, free on the WINDTab+ and $299 outright, and $49 on the WINDTab+ and $399 outright. The Galaxy Nexus is obviously the smartphone you should pick off this list since it's running Android 4.0. Check it out on WIND Mobile.

Mobilicity Releases the Samsung Galaxy Nexus For $599

Looks like Mobilicity in Canada decided to release the Samsung Galaxy Nexus just a bit earlier than expected. This smartphone, running Android 4.0, is now available on the carrier for $599.99 contract-free. That's not too bad and we'll have to see how much WIND releases it for. If you do happen to buy this one, it'll come with a free Samsung HM1100 Bluetooth headset. You can find this one right now at select Mobilicity select stores. Check it out on Mobilicity.

Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX Now Available On Verizon For $299

If you have the Motorola Droid Bionic then you probably would've been upset that Motorola released the DROID RAZR shortly after. If you grabbed the DROID RAZR then you'll be even more upset that Motorola and Verizon have just released the DROID RAZR MAXX which packs a whopping 3,300mAh battery. Apparently, you're able to get 21 hours of talk time on a single charge with this so you'll actually be able to put that 4G (LTE) connectivity to some good use. The device is still very thin and it'll cost you $299.99 on a 2-year contract or $649.99 contract-free if you're interested. Check it out on Verizon.

HTC "Primo" Smartphone To Come With Beats and Mid-End Specs

HTC may be looking to trim down on delivering numerous smartphones every year but they're still not shying away from the mid-end market. The "Primo" is rendered above and is said to be sporting a 3.7-inch Gorilla Glass display, a 5MP camera, 512MB of RAM, a dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm CPU, Beats Audio, and Android 4.0 with the Sense UI. The smartphone could be getting official at MWC next month but we'll just have to see what happens.

LG "CX2" Looks To Be the Next Optimus 3D

3D may be overhyped but some people are buying into the trend. And, that's why we're seeing what we see above. Reportedly, LG's working on a successor to their Optimus 3D smartphone. Right now it's being codenamed the "CX2" and it should be improved in every aspect. This one's said to be packing a dual-core 1.2GHz TI CPU and a slightly improved 4.3-inch 3D display. The body is said to be 2mm thinner (just 10mm now) and the rest of the specs are said to be 8GB of storage, WiFi b/g/n support, NFC, Bluetooth 3.0 support, and HSPA connectivity. It's unknown what version of Android it'll be running but it may make an appearance at MWC which takes place next month.

LG X3 Photo Reportedly Leaks, 4.7-Inch Quad-Core Android Phone

Now here's a smartphone that should give Samsung's Galaxy S III a run for its money. It's the LG "X3" which is said to be packing a 4.7-inch display with a 1,280 x 720 resolution, a quad-core Tegra 3 CPU, and some version of Android (possibly 4.0). The smartphone is apparently set for a late Spring or early Summer release date so we could see it unveiled next month at MWC.

This is said to be the company's next flagship device and it looks pretty great. Specs include a 9mm thin body, an 8MP camera, a front-facing 1.3MP camera, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g/n support, HSPA connectivity, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and a 2,000mAh battery. Look out for this one to be announced next month!

AT&T Announces the Sony Xperia Ion, Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD, and Others

AT&T has just announced a bunch of their new and upcoming phones. This includes the Sony Xperia Ion, the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD, and . The Xperia Ion packs a 4.6-inch display with a 1,280 x 720 resolution, a dual-core 1.5GHz CPU, 4G (LTE) connectivity, 16GB of storage, a 12MP Exmor R sensor, a front-facing 1.3MP camera, Android "Gingerbread", and it's PlayStation Certified. This one's expected to hit the carrier in Q2 of this year but the price is unknown right now.

Yes, there's another iteration of the Galaxy S II on the way to AT&T. The Skyrocket HD is set to launch in the coming months with an unknown price tag. It packs a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1,280 x 720 resolution, a dual-core 1.5GHz CPU, LTE, and Android "Gingerbread". Look out for this one soon.

There's also two Pantech devices that are on the way too: the Element and the Burst. First off, the Element is a tablet with an 8-inch XDA display, a dual-core Snapdragon 1.5GHz CPU, Android, and LTE support. The Burst, on the other hand, is a phone with a 4-inch Super AMOLED display and the Android OS. If you want, then you can get both of these devices right now for $249.99 on contract.

Last, but not least, there's the Samsung Exhilarate. Not much is known about this one right now but it does have LTE connectivity. It also looks like it's an eco-friendly one so it could be pretty cheap on contract.

Sprint Announces the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the LG Viper

In the midst of the CES storm, Sprint has announced some great news for its customers. First off, they announced that they'll be getting the updated Samsung Galaxy Nexus with 4G (LTE) connectivity not that old-school WiMAX stuff. It'll also feature a slightly speedier dual-core 1.5GHz CPU along with 16GB of storage and Google Wallet. They've also announced another LTE device and it's the LG Viper. This one packs a 4-inch WVGA display, a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, a 5MP camera, NFC, and Android "Gingerbread". The release date for these two smartphones are unknown right now but the LTE network is expected to launch in the middle of this year.

Asus Eee Transformer Prime 700T Gains a 1,920 x 1,200 Resolution Display

If you recently bought an Asus Eee Transformer Prime then you're out of luck. At CES 2012, Asus announced an updated Transformer Prime, the 700T, which features a high-res 1,920 x 1,200 resolution display. Internals generally stay the same but the display is a welcome upgrade. Inside, you'll find the same Tegra 3 CPU, 32GB / 64GB storage options, WiFi / Bluetooth support, an 8MP camera, a front-facing 2MP camera, and will be shipping with Android "Ice Cream Sandwich" when it comes in Q2 of this year. This one will cost you $599 (32GB) and $699 (64GB) if you're interested.

Sony Announces the Xperia S With a 720p Display

Sony has just announced another smartphone set to hit the market soon. What you see above is the Xperia S which is the Xperia Ion's little brother. This smartphone packs a 4.3-inch display with a 1,280 x 720 resolution, a dual-core 1.5GHz CPU, a 12MP Exmor R sensor, a front-facing camera, 32GB of storage, and Android "Gingerbread" with an upgrade to Android 4.0 expected in the second half of this year which is a while away. The Xperia S will be available in Q2 of this year in black and silver but the price is unknown right now.

It leaked last month and now it's official. Verizon has just announced the Motorola DROID 4 which is taking design cues from their latest devices. The smartphone itself features a 4-inch qHD display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, an 8MP camera, a front-facing camera, LTE (4G) connectivity, and Android 2.3.5 with a future upgrade to Android 4.0. The price is unknown right now and the device is set to hit the carrier in a few weeks.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 With LTE Is Headed To Verizon

And finally, Samsung has just announced the Galaxy Tab 7.7 tablet for Verizon in the US. This tablet still sports Android 3.2 "Honeycomb" but it features a 1,280 x 800 Super AMOLED display which looks great since it sports a high ppi. The tablet itself has LTE (4G) support for the carrier along with a dual-core 1.4GHz CPU, a 3MP camera, and a front-facing 2MP camera. The 7.9mm thin body is expected to hit the carrier in a few weeks. The price and exact availability is still unknown right now.

LG has just announced their latest smartphone that keeps up with the times. It's the Spectrum 4G LTE which will be hitting Verizon on January 19th for $199.99 on a 2-year contract. This smartphone packs a 4.5-inch display with a 1,280 x 720 resolution, a dual-core 1.5GHz CPU, 4GB of storage, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP camera, a front-facing 1.3MP camera, and unfortunately just Android 2.3 "Gingerbread". Apparently, it'll be getting an upgrade to Android 4.0 in the future but don't wait up for it.

Huawei Announces the Ascend P1 and P1 S, Just 6.8mm Thin and Has Android 4.0

Huawei has just announced what's being touted as the world's thinnest phone yet. This one's called the Ascend P1 S but there's also a fatter model called the P1. Both of them share pretty much the same spec sheet but the P1 S is just 6.8mm thin (the P1 is 7.69mm). This smartphone packs a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display, a dual-core TI OMAP 4460 1.5GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of ROM, an SGX 540 CPU, an 8MP camera, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, pentaband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity, and Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich".

Those specs are actually quite good so I wonder how Huawei managed to cram all of that power into this thin phone. The Ascend P1 S will be hitting North America in Q2 of this year which is just a few months away. The price is still unknown right now.

Lenovo IdeaTab S2 Is a Tablet That Transforms Into a Notebook

It may look and function like the Asus Eee Transformer Prime but that's not what's pictured above. What you see is the Lenovo IdeaTab S2. This one packs a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 CPU, a 10.1-inch display, and will be launching with Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich" later this year. The tablet itself is an inch thick and weighs 1.1 pounds. Combined with the keyboard dock you're looking at up to 20 hours of runtime and other details are still unknown right now. CES doesn't start for another two days so we'll definitely be seeing more of this one soon.

Acer's Iconia Tab A700 Gets Shown Off At CES, 1080p Display

CES 2012 is under away and Acer started off with a bang. They've quickly announced the Iconia Tab A700 (above) which is sporting a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution display for real HD movie watching. Inside you'll find a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU clocked at 1.3GHz CPU and Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich". It'll reportedly hit the market in Q2 of this year but that's just what they're saying right now.

Other specs include WiFi / Bluetooth support, an HDMI output, a microSD card slot, and a 9.8mm thin body which isn't bad. The Verge is also saying that the tablet is pretty light and the battery life is still unknown right now.

Yes, this one has 4G (LTE) connectivity but that should hurt the battery life a bit.
