Okay, so when you talk about RIM and BlackBerry nowadays people mention the Torch (even in Canada). Some people hate it and some people love it but that doesn't mean that RIM is shying away from their Curve and Bold line-ups. The internal document (above) has leaked out and it shows that RIM will be updating their Bold 9700 and it'll have the same look to it - only some specs will change. Everything that has been upgraded is highlighted in blue so this includes: OS 6.0 pre-installed, 512MB of RAM, a microSD card slot (that'll support 32GB cards), and a 5MP camera with a flash (with autofocus). It wouldn't really make sense for RIM to launch this as the BlackBerry Bold 9020 (since it has the R020 model number), so maybe it'll launch as the Bold 9720 since it's a slight upgrade - or this could possibly be the Bold 9780.

It was just a couple of days ago when people realized that Rogers dropped the price of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 to $99.99 on a 3-year contract but it looks like that might have changed already. Some Rogers stores in Canada are now offering the Bold 9700 for free on a 3-year contract if you're interested. Of course, the iPhone 4 is on the way so that could be why they decided to drop the price.

If you live in Canada and you're itching for a black or a white BlackBerry Bold 9700 then Rogers is now offering it for $99.99 on a 3-year contract. Rogers recently released the OS 5.0 for the Bold 9700 so it's a pretty sweet deal - unless you want to wait for the BB 9800 that is. Check it out on Rogers here.

Yes, Virgin Mobile in Canada dropped the BlackBerry Bold 9700 to $99.99 yesterday, but it looks like Future Shop is selling it even cheaper. The Bell Bold 9700 is actually available in their stores for $24.99 on a 3-year contract. It's pretty sweet so head over to the store now!

The title says it all. In Canada, Virgin Mobile has become the first carrier in Canada to drop the price of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 to $99.99 on a 3-year contract. Of course, with other BlackBerry smartphones launching later this year (with BB OS 6.0 and the new and improved Webkit browser), are you still willing to pick this one up? There's a rumour going around that the BlackBerry Onyx II is being worked on right now and it'll be the successor to the Bold 9700. This smartphone will reportedly feature a 360 x 480 resolution, 512MB of RAM, a 5MP camera, BB OS 6.0, and the new WebKit browser. Of course, nothing is confirmed right now but apparently it'll be the first GSM device with OpenGL support.

T-Mobile USA has finally released the white BlackBerry Bold 9700 - as expected. It's going for $99.99 (on their website here) on a 2-year contract. If you love your devices white then maybe you should pick this smartphone up.

Late last week in Future Shop and Best Buy's across Canada they were offering the white BlackBerry Bold 9700. Now, Rogers is offering it as well, so that's great news. If you're interested then check out their site here.

We already know that RIM is cooking up a white BlackBerry Bold 9700 and a fuchsia BB Curve 8520 headed to T-Mobile USA, but when will they be released? Apparently, the white Bold 9700 will be available starting on May 26th with the fuchsia Curve 8520 getting a release a couple of days after that. Of course, these handsets are nothing new - except for the colours - so when will they get the Pearl 3G (9100).

Thanks to both Best Buy and Future Shop in Canada, Rogers is now offering the white BlackBerry Bold 9700. For the Future Shop deal you'll have to get off your butt and head over to the store. For your efforts, they'll throw in a $50 gift card if you get the smartphone for $149.99 on a 3-year contract. The Best Buy deal (here) is just the white Bold 9700 and it's priced the same - no $50 gift card here.

The white BlackBerry Bold 9700 looks like it'll hit the US, thanks to T-Mobile. The picture states that it'll hit retailers on May 5th and now all we need to know is the price. The black model is going for $129.99 on a 2-year contract so it should launch for the same price.

It has already hit T-Mobile Netherlands and it looks like Vodafone UK will be launching the white BlackBerry Bold 9700 as well. This smartphone is actually now available to pre-order on their website here and it's, of course, available for free on contract.

Surprisingly enough, Canada didn't get the white BlackBerry Bold 9700 first. T-Mobile Netherlands has just launched the white BB Bold 9700, which is great news if you live there and bad news if you don't. Check it out here.

Now we know it's definitely on the way. On the BlackBerry website in Thai (here) the photo above was spotted and it's clearly the BlackBerry Bold 9700 in white! We know that this should be coming to Canada's Rogers in the future. We're just waiting for the official word from RIM themselves.

Not exactly the most exciting news but Telus has just dropped the price of the contract-free BlackBerry Bold 9700 to $499.99. You can still get it for $149.99 on a 3-year contract which is great considering it launched for a lot more than that. Check it out here if anyone buys contract-free phones.

We don't know when it will launch right now, but it looks like Rogers will be launching a white model of their BlackBerry Bold 9700. Since this is the first time we've heard about this colour for the Bold 9700, Rogers should be getting it first. I know some people who like white devices, but I'm not one of them.

This is the Bold 9700 to go free on contract so this is definitely a big deal - especially if you're already on Virgin. Of course, be sure to check if they have a good plan that fits your needs.
