Labels: , , , , , , ,

Finally, RIM has come clean and has announced the BlackBerry Torch 9810, the Torch 9850 / 9860, and the Bold 9900 / 9930. All of these smartphones pack a 1.2GHz CPU, 768MB of RAM, and OS 7.0. The new OS is reportedly 40% faster at browsing and also supports Liquid Graphics tech which uses a dedicated GPU for a smoother experience.

Mobile Syrup has mentioned that Virgin Mobile will be releasing the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and the Torch 9810 in Canada. Another Engadget post has mentioned that the BlackBerry Torch 9850 and the Bold 9930 are headed to Sprint and the Torch 9850 is also headed to US Cellular. Slash Gear has also posted a new photo of the upcoming Curve 9360 which wasn't officially announced today. The full spec sheet for this one is unknown right now but it does have OS 7.0 along with an optical trackpad, 3G, a QWERTY keyboard, and a microUSB port.
