Looks like the MeeGo-based Nokia N9 has hit the FCC again and this time there's external and internals photos of the device. Of course, inside it has pentaband 3G (850/900/1700/1900/2100) along with WiFi 802.11n support. Thankfully, it looks like there'll be 16GB and even 64GB models which should be enough for almost everyone. If you're bored then check it out at the FCC.

Here's an interesting piece of news, even though it's coming from an analyst. Apparently, the Nokia N9 and their first WP7 device (Sea Ray) may not even hit North America which would be pretty upsetting. Keep in mind that this is just an analyst but he could have some kind of inside information. If Nokia were to do this then they'd slip even farther down on the phone market. We'll see what happens.

A bunch of new phones from Nokia have gone official today and it starts with the Nokia N9. Stephen Elop announced this one and it officially features a 3.9-inch AMOLED display with a 480 x 854 resolution, 1GB of RAM, 16GB / 64GB of storage, an outstanding 8MP camera, Bluetooth 2.1 / WiFi a/b/g/n support, NFC, GPS, quad-band GSM / penta-band WCDMA connectivity, a microSIM slot, a polycarbonate body, a 3.5mm "AV connector", and the MeeGo 1.2 OS. The OS itself is pretty good but lacks apps severely. There's a bunch of pre-installed apps like Angry Birds Magic and Real Golf 2011 but there's nothing too interesting.

That's not all though because Nokia will always remember its roots. The company also announced the C2-03 which is a basic phone with a 240 x 400 resolution touchscreen display. The handset sports 10MB of storage, a microSD card slot, and the S40 OS. This one will reportedly be available in Q3 of this year in India, China, Eurasia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asian-Pacific region for €77 ($110 USD).

Last, but not least, Nokia announced the N950 which is intended for developers who are interested in the MeeGo OS. This one features a 4-inch LCD display with a 480 x 854 resolution, an 8MP camera, and Bluetooth 2.1 / WiFi support. Sadly, this one doesn't have NFC and sports a slightly smaller batter than the N9. The price and release date for this one - and the N9 - are still unknown.

PocketNow has just spotted what could be the Nokia N9 appearing in a short teaser video. The smartphone is question could be running MeeGo but there are some elements of Symbian "Anna" in the video so nothing is confirmed right now. The smartphone does appear to feature a slide-out QWERTY keyboard as well as a camera on the back that could be a 12MP sensor. Other details are unknown right now but maybe we'll hear more soon.

Coming from Reuters is word that Nokia has axed the Nokia N9-00 which is the smartphone you see above that was supposed to be running the MeeGo OS. Of course, with the new CEO saying that they're "standing on a burning platform" things might've changed. Apparently, the company is working on the N9-01 aka the "Lankku" which is going to mainly be a touchscreen device. Whatever it is, the firm is hearing that it should get unveiled in the next week or so - possibly this Friday or maybe next week while MWC is going on.

The Nokia N9 aka the MacBook Pro clone has just been tested by the infamous Eldar Murtazin. He didn't mention much, but he did say that the hardware is near-perfect. Unfortunately, he can't say the same about the software right now. The N9 will be running on the MeeGo OS so it's definitely far from perfect right now. He mentions that hopefully Nokia will alter the OS before the launch which is said to be sometime in 2011.

Rumoured specs for the upcoming Nokia N9 smartphone (likely running MeeGo) have just been leaked out. They're actually pretty amazing: a 4-inch OLED display (480 x 800 resolution), a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 CPU, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of system storage, a whopping 64GB of internal storage, a 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording capabilities, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 / aGPS support, and HSPA+ connectivity.

Of course, these are just rumoured specs and Unwired View actually doesn't believe that Nokia decided to go with a 1GHz Snapdragon inside of here. They point out that Nokia specifically mentioned that their Maemo 6 devices would be using TI OMAP 3 CPUs so that may or may not be true. They also believe that the 5MP camera seems a bit low for a new flagship device coming from Nokia - they're thinking either an 8MP or a 12MP sensor will be on board. We'll really just have to wait and see for Nokia to clear the air.

The Nokia N9 has been leaked out again and this time it confirms everything we need to know. It looks just like the smartphone that we saw way back in July demoing the MeeGo OS in Nokia's own video. Anyways, this handset may look a bit like the MacBook Pro or the Nokia Booklet 3G but this one is obviously smaller and has a pretty nice design. The body is said to be made of aluminum, it sports the MeeGo OS, has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and the photo above is just a prototype of the handset. Apparently though, it'll be launching in early December so maybe it'll make a good Christmas present for you. Let's just hope that Nokia opted for a fast CPU inside of this.

A new possible Nokia handset might have just leaked in a new video spotted online. This could be Nokia's first handset launching with the MeeGo OS out-of-the-box. It's being dubbed the N9 thus far and will clearly feature a touchscreen display along with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The picture above looks like it could just be a mock-up so let's wait for some press shots - whenever those get released. Check out the video on Engadget's own site.
