Unannounced Motorola EX130 Leaks, Sports Two Displays

Labels: , , ,

Motorola just announced the EX130 which, surprisingly, isn't running the Android OS. This is actually running on Qualcomm's Brew MP and the handset itself sports a 2.8-inch QVGA display as well as a smaller OLED "ticker" display. It's kind of like a low-end Samsung Continuum, well, made by Motorola. The handset also sports 64MB of RAM, 128MB of internal storage, and Bluetooth. Price and release date for this one hasn't been mentioned yet.

Labels: , , , , , , , , , , ,

Two phones look like they're on their way to Canada soon. First up if the one above which we've known would be hitting Telus for a while now. Yup, it's the Galaxy S Fascinate 4G which is the exact same as the Vibrant 4G that hit T-Mobile USA. This one features a 4-inch display, HSPA+ support, a 1GHz CPU, and Android 2.2 with the Touchwiz UI. This will be available on May 12th, which is just two weeks away.

The other handset is the Nokia E5 which is headed to Rogers soon. This one's not as exciting but it'll be a cheap phone with a QWERTY keyboard for easy and quick text messaging. The price and release date is still unknown for this one right now but we should be finding out the details soon.

HTC Kingdom and HTC Rider Leak, Both Running Android With Sense

Labels: , , , ,

On the Chinese market, it looks like two phones have leaked: the HTC Kingdom (above) and the HTC Rider (below). The Kingdom looks a whole lot the HTC Sensation so it might get a name change when it launches in Asia. This one reportedly features a qHD display which lines up perfectly. The one below looks like a whole lot like Sprint's HTC EVO line-up since it has rounded touch buttons below the display. Maybe it'll be sporting a smaller 4-inch display with 4G connectivity if it hits the US. That's just a guess.

The netbook reportedly features an Intel Atom N550 1.5GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, an SSD, a 1,280 x 800 resolution display, 3G / WiFi support, a webcam, Bluetooth, Ehternet, and a Synaptics touchpad. Obviously, this is just a test device right now so the specs could change before it launches, which is still unknown.

Casio G'zOne Commando and DROID Incredible 2 Available For $199

Labels: , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Verizon has actually released two phones today which is pretty amazing. There's the Casio G'zOne Commando and the DROID Incredible 2 which are both running the Android OS. They're both available right now for $199.99 if you're willing to sign up for a 2-year contract.

The first handset is expensive because it's a rugged handset; other than that it's a mid-end touchscreen phone. The DROID Incredible 2 is just the Incredible S in a disguise and Verizon-branding. It's a decent upgrade over the last model but, sadly, still houses a 1GHz CPU. Check them both out on Verizon whenever you want to.
