Nokia's MeeGo-Based Tablet Could Be Running On an ARM CPU, Set For Q4 Release

According to DigiTimes, Nokia's tablet (7 or 9-inches) actually won't be running on an Intel Moorestown CPU. Instead, it'll be running on an ARM CPU and the tablet will be running the MeeGo OS, which is good news. Apparently, this tablet will be ready for the market sometime in Q4, but we'll see if things at the Nokia camp work as well as they want. The tablet pictured above is a prototype tablet from Quanta, in case you were wondering.

Toshiba Unveils the 21.5-Inch Dynabook Qosmio DX All In One PC In Japan

Toshiba has unveiled their first all-in-one PC today, dubbed the Dynabook Qosmio DX. This is actually now available in Japan for ¥200,000 ($2,201 USD) if you're interested. Beneath its 21.5-inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 resolution) display you'll get an Intel Core i5-540M 2.4GHz CPU, a 1TB HDD, 4GB of RAM, a Blu-ray drive, a digital TV tuner, six USB 2.0 ports, WiFi b/g support, an HDMI port, and a 1.3MP webcam. Like I said, it's now available in Japan.

Motorola DROID 2 Gets Caught Up In a 5-Minute Video

Thanks to Android and Me, we now have the Motorola DROID 2 (headed to Verizon) in its first video - even though it's pretty blue. The DROID 2 looks pretty identical to the original DROID, but there are some slight differences. Inside you'll find a 1GHz TI OMAP3630 CPU and 512MB of RAM. Of course, the QWERTY keyboard is a bit different as well. It's still sporting the same 3.7-inch display along with a 5MP camera so that's still great. Anyways, check out the video below.

Toshiba AC100 Netbook Officially Sporting Tegra T250 CPU and Android 2.1

We heard about it over two weeks ago and it looks like Slash Gear has just got their hands on the Toshiba AC100 netbook - although they're calling it an MID for some reason. Beneath the 10.1-inch
LED-backlit display (1,024 x 600 resolution) you'll find a Nvidia Tegra 250 (1GHz) CPU, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of flash memory, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR support, optional 3G / WWAN chipset, GPS, an HDMI port, an SD/MMC card slot, audio jacks, a 1.3MP webcam, a USB 2.0 port, and a miniUSB as well. Update: According to Gizmodo, this netbook is actually running Android and sports an 8-hour battery life with a whopping seven days of standby battery life. It'll be available sometime in August.

Update: In Japan, this netbook will actually be called the Dynabook AZ and will be available for ¥40,000 ($440 USD).

Asus Eee PC 1201PN Netbook Now Available On Amazon For Less Than $500

Finally the Asus Eee PC 1201PN netbook has found its way into the US - special thanks to Amazon. They're offering the netbook for $484 right now and it'll ship with a 12.1-inch display along with Nvidia's Ion graphics. Inside you'll also find 2GB of RAM and a 250GB HDD. Unfortunately, you won't find Optimus technology in here which definitely sucks. Check it out on Amazon here if you want.

Toshiba Unveils Libretto W100 UMPC With Dual 7-Inch Displays and 13.3-Inch Portege R700 Notebook

As expected, Toshiba has introduced their Libretto W100 UMPC which is sporting two 7-inch touchscreen displays (with a 1,024 x 600 resolution). This is looking like it could have some potential but we'll just have to wait and see how well it performs. Sadly, it'll be priced at $1,099 which isn't in a lot of people's budget. Anyways, the rest of the specs include an Intel Pentium U5400 1.2GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 64GB SSD, and Windows 7 Home Premium. This will be hitting the market in the next few months so let's see what happens until then. Check out the correct Engadget link below for their thoughts on the UMPC.

Toshiba has also unveiled their latest 13.3-inch notebook, dubbed the Portege R700. Inside you'll find Core i3 / i5 / i7 CPU options and up to 4GB of RAM. The $899 model will be sporting a Core i3 CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB HDD, and a blue Best Buy colour. There'll be a $1,299 model as well and it'll sport a Core i5 CPU along with a 320GB (7,200 rpm) HDD. The more expensive $1,599 model will be sporting a Core i7 CPU and a 128GB SSD. These are available and will be shipping asap if you want to scoop one up.
