Finally the Asus Eee PC 1201PN netbook has found its way into the US - special thanks to Amazon. They're offering the netbook for $484 right now and it'll ship with a 12.1-inch display along with Nvidia's Ion graphics. Inside you'll also find 2GB of RAM and a 250GB HDD. Unfortunately, you won't find Optimus technology in here which definitely sucks. Check it out on Amazon here if you want.

Lenovo has just announced the IdeaCentre Q150 nettop since they're busy updating a bunch of their current products today. This one packs an Intel Atom D410 / D510 CPU, Nvidia Ion graphics, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD, WiFi, HDMI / S/PDIF outputs, four USB 2.0 ports, and Windows 7 Home Basic / Premium. This would be perfect for an HTPC if that's what you want. This nettop will be available sometime in June for just $249.

What you see on the right side in the picture above is the wireless Multimedia Remote with Keyboard, it's optional.

Netbooked is back at it again, this time they've discovered a new HP Mini 210 listing on HP's own website (actually it was MyHPMini). Clearly, this netbook could be seen as the successor their Mini 110 netbook, which is definitely a good thing. We're looking at a netbook with an Intel Atom N450 and - if it is the Mini 110 successor - it could also have Nvidia Ion graphics inside. This is something to look forward to.


Update: For some unknown reason I confused the HP Mini 110 for the Mini 311. The Mini 110 doesn't have Ion graphics, it's actually the Mini 311. So, this is a regular netbook with integrated graphics - unfortunately.

Asus just made a big and good announcement this morning. They mentioned that all of their upcoming netbooks (Eee PC line-up) from now on won't be rocking the terrible integrated Intel graphics. Instead they'll be utlizing Nvidia's Ion graphics, which is found in their Eee PC 1201N (pictured above). This is great news, especially considering the fact that Nvidia says that it's ten times faster than Intel's integrated graphics.

The Samsung N510 netbook has just been spotted online, but just for pre-orders. With this netbook, you should expect: an 11.6-inch display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz CPU, Nvidia Ion graphics, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n / Bluetooth support, VGA / HDMI / Ethernet / three USB 2.0 ports, and Windows 7 Home Premium.

If you're looking to get this netbook you should be able to find it online for around $575 USD.

You can now check out Excalibur PC for the Asus Eee PC 1201N netbook. This netbook comes with: an 11.6-inch display, Nvidia Ion graphics and, clearly, it's available for $499 pre-orders.

It was announced last month and it looks like the Asus Eee Box EB1501 is now available in the UK. Unfortunately, it'll take this Ion-packed nettop 2 to 5 weeks to ship. This nettop is now available on Amazon here for £339 ($563 USD).

Haleron has just unveiled their latest Nvidia Ion-powered nettop, dubbed the H-Box. The H-Box will come with: an Intel Atom Dual-Core 330 1.6GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, WiFi 802.11 n, an HDMI / VGA / Ethernet / five USB 2.0 ports, audio jacks, a card reader, and an optional mouse / keyboard. Haleron hasn't mentioned what OS it'll be running, but we'll likely see Windows 7 as one of the options. It's available right now for $459 USD, so you can check it out here if you're interested.

Yup, it comes packed with a 12.1-inch display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Atom Dual-Core 330 1.6GHz CPU, Nvidia Ion, and Windows 7 Home Premium.

Lenovo looks like they're planning to launch the Nvidia Ion-equipped IdeaPad S12 in Japan this Thursday, October 22nd with Windows 7 on-board. This netbook sports: a 12.1-inch display with a 1,280 x 800 resolution, 2GB of RAM, an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU, a 250GB HDD, WiFi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth support, HDMI output, two USB 2.0 ports, a card reader, and a 6-cell battery that should last 6 hours. In Japan, this will be available for around $760 USD and will apparently sell for about $200 USD cheaper when it launches in North America.

Verizon looks like they're going to be launching the HP Mini 110 and the Mini 311 netbooks. They're launching them both on October 22nd with Windows 7 pre-installed - actually the Mini 110 is going to have Windows XP. The Mini 110 is your standard 11.6-inch netbook and it'll be available for $199.99 USD on a 2-year contract after rebates, but it'll actually be launched right after they run out of the last-gen Mini 1151 netbook.

The Mini 311, on the other hand, will be launching on October 22nd for $249.99 USD on a 2-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate. And, yes, this netbook will be 3G-equipped. This netbook is definitely the more desirable of the two, since it has Windows 7 and Nvidia's Ion.

In case you're thinking about putting Apple's OS X on your HP Mini 311 there is good news for you. Well, the good news is that right now those OS X hackers have ported it successfully to said netbook. And, for the most part, it's functional; the whole display, Nvidia Ion graphics, Ethernet port, card reader, Bluetooth, and integrated webcam all work, but there are still some kinks to work out. Apparently, the sound, WiFi, and sleep / resume functions aren't working. I guess you should just stick with running Windows 7 on this netbook for now.

It looks like the HP Mini 311 - possibly the best netbook OF ALL TIME - is getting a slight spec bump for the better. The Mini 311 will be outed with: Nvidia Ion graphics, up to 3GB of RAM, up to a 320GB HDD / 80GB SSD, and even a Windows 7 Professional option. If I were to get a netbook right now, I'd definitely get this sucker.

Well, looks like that HP Mini 311 will be outdated pretty soon. Nvidia has just announced that the Nvidia Ion 2 chipset will have VIA support and will be sent to manufacturers by the end of the year. This could mean that we'll see netbooks equipped with Ion 2 late this year or early next year. Either way, the wait is only a few months away. Technology evolves way too fast.

On a side note, Nvidia is also planning to launch Tegra II next Summer...

Zotac has just unveiled a new nettop PC as a part of their MAG line-up. This nettop will feature: an Intel Single-Core Atom 230 / Intel Dual-Core Atom 330 CPU, Nvidia Ion graphics, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, and a 160GB HDD. I believe it's now available with Windows XP / Vista / Linux OS options. Like most of the nettops that are being released nowadays, you'll be able to clamp this on the back of your LCD desktop monitor.

It looks like Weibu has just released their N10A netbook. This netbook has: a 10.1-inch display with a 1,024 x 600 resolution, Nvidia Ion graphics, an Intel Atom Single-Core 230 1.6GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 150GB HDD, and an HDMI output. This netbook is now available in Japan for 49,800 Yen, which is around $556 USD.
