We heard about this last week and Verizon has just launched one of the expected two 3G equipped HP netbooks. The one they have released is the HP Mini 311. You should already know that this netbook comes equipped with Nvidia's Ion and it, basically, leaves every other netbook in the dust performace-wise. Verizon has this netbook available for $249.99 USD on a 2-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate.

Verizon is also expected to launch the HP Mini 110, but it's not available yet. We should see it pretty soon, and it'll be available for $199.99 USD on a 2-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate. It'll be equipped with Windows XP and is expected to launch mid-November.

Verizon looks like they're going to be launching the HP Mini 110 and the Mini 311 netbooks. They're launching them both on October 22nd with Windows 7 pre-installed - actually the Mini 110 is going to have Windows XP. The Mini 110 is your standard 11.6-inch netbook and it'll be available for $199.99 USD on a 2-year contract after rebates, but it'll actually be launched right after they run out of the last-gen Mini 1151 netbook.

The Mini 311, on the other hand, will be launching on October 22nd for $249.99 USD on a 2-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate. And, yes, this netbook will be 3G-equipped. This netbook is definitely the more desirable of the two, since it has Windows 7 and Nvidia's Ion.

In case you're thinking about putting Apple's OS X on your HP Mini 311 there is good news for you. Well, the good news is that right now those OS X hackers have ported it successfully to said netbook. And, for the most part, it's functional; the whole display, Nvidia Ion graphics, Ethernet port, card reader, Bluetooth, and integrated webcam all work, but there are still some kinks to work out. Apparently, the sound, WiFi, and sleep / resume functions aren't working. I guess you should just stick with running Windows 7 on this netbook for now.

It looks like the HP Mini 311 - possibly the best netbook OF ALL TIME - is getting a slight spec bump for the better. The Mini 311 will be outed with: Nvidia Ion graphics, up to 3GB of RAM, up to a 320GB HDD / 80GB SSD, and even a Windows 7 Professional option. If I were to get a netbook right now, I'd definitely get this sucker.

This new model has just been spotted in Europe and it's called the Asus Eee PC 1001HA which is a pretty new model with nothing too interesting inside. It has a 10.1-inch display an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 CPU, and is basically the 1005HA netbook in a different exterior - according to Netbooked. This netbook is expected to start shipping on September 23 for €250 ($368 USD) to €300 ($442 USD) with Windows XP, Linux or no OS.

I'm sure you're keeping a close eye on the HP Mini 311 netbook with Nvidia Ion graphics. Well, the good news is that it could be available by the end of this month. It's expected to start shipping on September 23rd - just 3 days away - for $399 USD. It's just a rumour, so it could be debunked shortly. Remember the HP Mini 311 netbook? Well, the rumours turned out to be true, it does come packed with Nvidia Ion graphics. Other specs include: an 11.6-inch display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 CPU, a 160GB HDD, Windows XP, and a 6-cell battery. The best part is that it will reportedly only cost $399 USD when it launches - supposedly sometime before October 22nd since it won't have Windows 7 on-board. This is definitely great news and actually makes me kind of regret that I got my 15-inch notebook. This netbook looks like it will have a great bang-for-your-buck value.

Even though there is no proof behind the latest leak of upcoming HP laptop model numbers, in the picture above you will find one of the two new netbooks from HP. In the picture above, you'll see the HP Mini 311 and the list goes on and you'll also find the HP Mini 210 - on the same list found here. As of right now, we know nothing about these new netbooks and we don't even know if they exist. We'll just have to wait and see what goes on for the next couple of weeks.
