It looks like Asus Japan has just announced the Eee PC 1005HR, which is a variant of the 1005HA. This netbook is being outed with: a 10.1-inch display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, an integrated 0.3MP webcam, Windows 7 Starter Edition, and a 6-cell battery that is expected to last 8.5 hours. Starting this November, Asus Japan will be offering this netbook for 49,800 Yen (about $547 USD).

In Italy, they are now taking pre-orders of Asus Eee PC's (1005HA, 1008HA, 1101HA) with Windows 7 pre-installed. Fortunately, the HDDs are also a bit larger now that they have Windows 7 on it - 250GB for everyone. Check out the pre-orders for the 1005HA here, 1008HA here, and the 1101HA here.

The Asus Eee PC 1005HA is a netbook that launched in black, white, blue, and pink. Just in case you don't like any of these colours, I should inform you that a silver colour will be launching in Japan next month. The best part is that it is trading the plastic with a metal lid. You can head over to Kakaku to check out the silver model. It is going to launch for ¥47,700 yen ($509 USD), but we don't know if the US will get their hands on this netbook colour.

Yes, that's right! The Asus Eee PC 1005HA is now available for pre-orders on Amazon for $350 USD. Amazon has not mentioned when this netbook will ship, but it shouldn't be too far away. Just in case you forgot, the 1005HA has: a 10.1-inch display, an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 CPU, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160GB HDD, Windows XP, and a user-replaceable battery that's said to last 8.5-hours. Update: As of June 24, Newegg is also taking pre-orders for this netbook here. It's expected to ship on July 1st, so it's only a week away. The let down is that it will be a bit more expensive than the Amazon pre-order that I talked about above (not true anymore, if you check below). This will actually cost you $390 USD. I guess Amazon is the better option here. Don't forget that this netbook has a whopping 9 hours of battery life - according to Laptop Mag's review - which is good enough to claim the top spot in that category. At Computex this year, Asus unveiled their new Eee Top all-in-one computers, the ET2202T and ET2203T. They also unveiled a new Eee PC 1005HGo that has built-in 3G.

First off, let's talk about the new Asus Eee Top ET2202T and ET2203T. The ET2202T has: a 20-inch display with a 1,600 x 900 resolution, Intel Atom dual-core Atom 330 CPU, 2GB of RAM, Nvidia Ion 9400M graphics, an HDMI output, 802.11n WiFi, a DVD burner, and a 250GB HDD. This will go on sale for $599 - $799 USD. The ET2203T, on the other hand, steps it up with: a 21.5-inch display with an HD-capable 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 CPU, 4GB of RAM, ATI Radeon HD4570 graphics, an HDMI input, a 320GB HDD, 802.11n WiFi, and tops it all off with a Blu-ray drive. This will go on sale for anywhere between $799 and $1,199 USD. I don't know when either all-in-one PC will be available though.

Asus also continued to expand their Eee PC 1005HA line-up with their latest 1005HGo. Like the 1101HGo (that we heard about yesterday), the 1005HGo will have built-in 3G, along with the same 10.1-inch LED-backlit display, 1GB of RAM, and Atom N270 / N280 CPU that the 1005HA has.

Asus is continuing to expand their "Seashell" netbook line-up and they are going to follow up with the Eee PC 1005HA. Asus has just announced a full spec sheet for these netbooks, so that's always a good thing. The Eee PC 1005HA has: a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with a 1,024 x 600 resolution, a 160GB HDD, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, VGA output, 3 USB 2.0 slots, Ethernet, a multicard reader, and audio in / out. The netbook will also come with your choice of the N270 or the N280 Atom CPU, a 0.3 or a 1.3MP webcam, and it also has a battery long enough to last 10.5 hours - or so they say. Pretty much the same specs as every other netbook, so there's no major difference.

I'm curious to know how long the battery will last in real-time tests though because I'm still looking for that netbook with 8 hours of life. Anyways, the 1005HA will apparently come in a couple of colours, like black, pink, white, and blue. The price and release date has not been mentioned, so I'll get that for you at a later date.
