Yes, that's right! The Asus Eee PC 1005HA is now available for pre-orders on Amazon for $350 USD. Amazon has not mentioned when this netbook will ship, but it shouldn't be too far away. Just in case you forgot, the 1005HA has: a 10.1-inch display, an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 CPU, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160GB HDD, Windows XP, and a user-replaceable battery that's said to last 8.5-hours. Update: As of June 24, Newegg is also taking pre-orders for this netbook here. It's expected to ship on July 1st, so it's only a week away. The let down is that it will be a bit more expensive than the Amazon pre-order that I talked about above (not true anymore, if you check below). This will actually cost you $390 USD. I guess Amazon is the better option here. Don't forget that this netbook has a whopping 9 hours of battery life - according to Laptop Mag's review - which is good enough to claim the top spot in that category. Update (#2): The old Amazon link for the Asus Eee PC 1005HA is not working anymore. The new listing for the 1005HA on Amazon has a price tag of $390 USD as well.
