E-Mail Says iPhone 4 Will Be Hitting Verizon In Early 2011

Labels: , , , , ,

It's unconfirmed right now but apparently, this image is "proof" that the iPhone 4 will really be hitting Verizon in early 2011. The information in the "e-mail" says that promo material will be available before Christmas 2010 and will be finally debuting on Verizon on January 10th, 2011. Like I said, this is unconfirmed right now so take it with a grain of salt. And yes, this rumour will never die.

WiFi-Only Samsung Galaxy Tab Won't Be Hitting Best Buy Until Next Year

Labels: , , , , , ,

Up to this point, a few people are waiting for the WiFi-only Samsung Galaxy Tab. Unfortunately, those people are going to have to wait until next year if you believe the leaked internal memo that Android and Me has just received. It clearly says that the model in question is delayed until "Post Holiday" which means that it won't be launching until early 2011. This is some pretty bad news considering that CES 2011 takes place just a few days into the new year - potentially making the Galaxy Tab obsolete.

None of them are mind-blowing in terms of specs but they'll definitely be affordable. The exact release dates and pricing are still unknown right now.

AT&T Launching the Samsung Solstice II For $29.99

Labels: , , ,

AT&T will be releasing the Samsung Solstice II in the future and Mobile Burn has pointed out that it'll be priced at $29.99 on a 2-year contract. The Solstice II will feature a 3-inch touchscreen display with a 240 x 400 resolution, a 2MP camera, GPS support, Bluetooth 2.1, AT&T Navigator, and a microSD card slot. This is pretty good dumbphone to add to their line-up but I think that you're better off with a budget Android phone.

Update: According to Unwired View, the Samsung Solstice has the model number a817 and will be available starting on November 7th.
