Motorola's Website Leaks Their Own Future Products; Smartphones, Tablet, and Even a Watch Phone

Labels: , , , , , , ,

PocketNow was the first website to break this new news to us. On Motorola's own website, which is being redesigned, they have leaked a bunch of new devices that we will likely see later this year. There's the Motorola XOOM 2 which will obviously be a new tablet running on the Android tablet OS. There are also a bunch of new smartphones: Slimline, Zaha, and Targa. There's also the Tracy XL which looks like it'll be the company's first watchphone. Interesting.

Maybe we'll be hearing about all of these soon and maybe they'll launch in Q3. Of course, these are just guesses but you can bet that most of those names are just codenames - except for the XOOM 2. Not much is known about any of these devices right now but the smartphones appear to be on the slim side.

Unofficial New Asus PadFone Pictures Leak, What Version Of Android Will It Have?

Labels: , , , , ,

It'll all get official very soon, at Computex, but PocketNow has just picked up new photos of the Asus Padfone which pretty much tells us how it'll function. So, the top part of the back of the tablet will house the smartphone and the rear-facing camera will use the Asus smartphone since it has a hole for it - it has a front-facing camera as well. The biggest unknown about this device is what version of Android it'll be running. It might be running just "Gingerbread" but maybe it'll be launched in a few months with "Ice Cream Sandwich" which would be impressive. Save your questions because it should be official very soon!

Google Employee Reportedly Leaks An "Ice Cream Sandwich" HTC Phone

Labels: , , ,

Tech Hog snatched up an all new smartphone which is supposedly being leaked from a Google employee. Trust me when I say that this is a big leak. Apparently, the device you see above will be the first one running on Google's next version of the Android OS, Ice Cream Sandwich. Furthermore, the device is said to be made by HTC which seems legit if you've been looking at their latest phones - the grill at the top of the phone gives it away.

The leaks also tell us that it could have HSPA+ support as well as CDMA which means it could be a dual-mode smartphone. However, this smartphone isn't ready for the masses since it's being rumoured that it'll be getting a slight makeover before it gets released. It should also house a front-facing camera which would be great.

Keep in mind that the photo above is photoshopped but it might not be a fake - they could have just retouched the image a bit. Interesting. Could it be the next Nexus smartphone, or will that really be made by LG? We'll see.

Update: PocketNow has just pointed out that a possible name for this dockable tablet has been spotted at the USPTO and it's "Padfone". Kind of weird but we'll just have to wait and see what happens next week.
