It has just been confirmed that Videotron in the US will really be launching the myTouch 4G, erm, the HTC Panache in Canada too. The smartphone has just popped up on HTC's official website ahead of the launch which should be right around the corner. The device is expected to launch for around $500 contract-free.

It looks like the HTC Glacier / Panache may be hitting another carrier in Canada. We already know that it's headed to Mobilicity and it looks like it could be ready to Videotron as well. The handset is essentially the myTouch 4G on T-Mobile USA for Canada. This features a 3.8-inch WVGA display, 4GB of storage, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 support, a 5MP AF camera, a VGA front-facing camera, a 1GHz CPU, and Android 2.2.

Videotron has just released a new phone and it's the Nokia C5-04. This one's available right now for $39.95 on contract or for $209.95 contract-free which might be the better deal if you can find someone to unlock it. It's already available on WIND Mobile in Canada and it looks like another carrier will be getting it: Videotron. Mobile Syrup's tipsters have informed them that they plan to launch the Nokia C7 soon. Videotron looks like they're going to be releasing another handset soon. It could be the Nokia E73 which is already available in Canada on Mobilicity. According to the image above, the carrier will be launching it sometime in the future and all I have to say is: the more, the merrier. Price is unknown right now.

The first carrier in Canada to release the Nexus S? It was Videotron and they're willing to give you one if you fork over $149.95 on a 3-year contract or for $529.95 contract-free which is a bit high. The smartphone features a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, a 1GHz CPU, a 5MP AF camera, WiFi / Bluetooth support, hotspot capabilities, NFC, and stock Android 2.3 "Gingerbread". The next two carriers to release the smartphone were Telus and Koodo Mobile via Best Buy. Telus is offering the smartphone right now for $174.99 on a 3-year contract and Koodo wants $274.99 on the Tab - even more expensive than Videotron. Check it out on Best Buy or Telus. More carriers will have the phone available before the end of the day so just wait a bit.

Yup, the Samsung C414 is now available through them for $49.95 on a contract and $149.95 contrtact-free if you're interested. There's no press release on it right now but Mobile Syrup has reportedly been informed that the Samsung-built Nexus S is going to hit Canada on April 14th. The price is unknown right now but it'll be available on a slew of carriers including: Rogers, Bell, Telus, WIND Mobile, Mobilicity, Fido, Koodo Mobile, and Videotron. If you've been waiting to get your hands on NFC and stock "Gingerbread" then you might want to wait for this one.

This time it's Videotron and it's available for $49.95 on their "Reduced Plan" and the retail price or contract-free offering is $349.95. In case you forgot, this smartphone features a QWERTY keyboard, a 2.4-inch display, an optical trackpad, WiFi / Bluetooth 2.1 / GPS support, a 2MP camera, and OS 5.0 (with an upgrade to 6.0 sometime in the future).
