13.1-Inch Sony Vaio Z Unveiled In Europe, Launching In July

Sony has just unveiled their Vaio Z in Europe and it's exactly like the shots we saw yesterday. This time the specs are clearly outlined for everyone to love. The ultraportable notebook features a 13.1-inch display (1,600 x 900 resolution, an Intel Core i7 CPU, a 256GB SSD, up to 8GB of RAM, Intel's HD 3000 graphics, WiFi a/b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 support, a 1.3MP webcam, Light Peak (aka Thunderbolt), USB 3.0 ports, a 0.86-inch thin and 2.6 pound body, and up to 7 hours of battery life. There's also an optional sheet battery which will give you up to 14 hours of life if you need that.

As rumoured, there'll be an external dock that you can puchase, dubbed the Power Media Dock. The dock packs AMD Radeon 6650M graphics, USB 3.0, VGA, HDMI outputs, and even an optical drive. The notebook is said to be available in Europe this July so you might want to wait around for it. Unfortunately, the price is unknown right now.

Rogers To Release the Nokia X2, HTC Salsa Headed To Canada Too

We heard about it just a few days ago and now we know that the QWERTY-packing Nokia X2-01 will be hitting Rogers. The Canadian carrier should be launching it soon but the price is still unknown. It could be on their prepaid line-up but that's unconfirmed right now.

Yet another handset is headed North of the border and it'll be the HTC Salsa. This handset was officially announced earlier this year and has Facebook integration along with the Android OS. The handset features a 3.4-inch display, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, a 5MP AF camera with an LED flash, a front-facing camera, an 800MHz CPU, and Android 2.3 "Gingerbread" with the Sense UI. It's unknown which carrier will be getting this one right now.

T-Mobile USA Finally Announces the myTouch 4G Slide With Advanced 8MP Camera

It's finally official! T-Mobile USA has just announced the myTouch 4G Slide which features a 3.7-inch WVGA Super LCD display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and Android 2.3 with the Sense UI. That's not all though. The 8MP camera (1080p video recording) on the back is said to be the most advanced camera in a mobile device and features tech that's similar to the camera on the Nokia N9. This smartphone will be available next month, July, but the price is still unknown for the meantime.

Verizon Could Be Getting a Samsung Smartphone With a Slide-Out QWERTY

Verizon looks like they could be planning to launch an Android Samsung smartphone in the future with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Specs for this one are rumoured to be mid-end so don't expect anything too mind-blowing with this one. Of course, it'll sell if the price is right so hopefully Verizon could pull through on that front.

HP's Envy 14 Beats Edition has just been updated to pack a punch. The notebook now features an Intel Core i5-2410M CPU, 6GB of DDR3 RAM, a 750GB HDD, an AMD Radeon HD 6630 GPU, and an aluminum body. This one will cost you $1,049.99 on Amazon if you want it. Of course, you'll also be able to enjoy your music on the notebook because of the tech you'll find inside. Motorola and Sprint Working On Upgraded XPRT With WiMAX and Gingerbread

Android and Me is hearing that Sprint and Motorola may already be planning to release an upgraded XPRT smartphone. Apparently, the handset will sport a QWERTY keyboard, WiMAX, and even Android "Gingerbread". People must love their QWERTY keyboards if this is the case but I'll stick with something like the DROID Bionic or the Galaxy S II instead.
