We heard about it just a few days ago and now we know that the QWERTY-packing Nokia X2-01 will be hitting Rogers. The Canadian carrier should be launching it soon but the price is still unknown. It could be on their prepaid line-up but that's unconfirmed right now.
Yet another handset is headed North of the border and it'll be the HTC Salsa. This handset was officially announced earlier this year and has Facebook integration along with the Android OS. The handset features a 3.4-inch display, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, a 5MP AF camera with an LED flash, a front-facing camera, an 800MHz CPU, and Android 2.3 "Gingerbread" with the Sense UI. It's unknown which carrier will be getting this one right now.

Verizon Could Be Getting a Samsung Smartphone With a Slide-Out QWERTY
Verizon looks like they could be planning to launch an Android Samsung smartphone in the future with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Specs for this one are rumoured to be mid-end so don't expect anything too mind-blowing with this one. Of course, it'll sell if the price is right so hopefully Verizon could pull through on that front.

Motorola and Sprint Working On Upgraded XPRT With WiMAX and Gingerbread
Android and Me is hearing that Sprint and Motorola may already be planning to release an upgraded XPRT smartphone. Apparently, the handset will sport a QWERTY keyboard, WiMAX, and even Android "Gingerbread". People must love their QWERTY keyboards if this is the case but I'll stick with something like the DROID Bionic or the Galaxy S II instead.
