Dell "Rosemount" Windows 7 Tablet Will Sport an "Oak Trail" Atom and Dual-Digitizer

The Dell "Rosemount" leaked on the company's roadmap just yesterday and Engadget is hearing some pretty juicy details regarding the Windows 7 based tablet. Apparently, the 10-inch tablet will be sporting a dual-digitizer so that you'll be able to touch your way around the UI or you'll also be able to use a stylus if that's what you want to do. Other rumoured specs for now include an Intel "Oak Trail" Atom CPU, software encryption, remote wipe, and a removable battery. This tablet may actually be a part of their Latitude line-up so it could be perfect for the enterprise or a business environment.

T-Mobile USA Tweets That They'll Be Getting the Samsung Galaxy S II

Answering someone who who would get the Samsung Galaxy S II "in a heartbeat", T-Mobile USA's official Twitter account mentioned that, yes, they'll be launching it. Price and release date is still unknown because it's probably still weeks, if not months, away. This beast of a phone packs quite the spec sheet and follows the original Galaxy S well since it's, again, raising the standards for the smartphone war.

Amazon UK has just listed the HTC Desire S on their website. It'll reportedly be available for £419.99 ($678 USD which seems quite expensive) and it'll ship on April 18th. HP Pre 2 Now Available On Verizon For $149.99

It's finally here, the HP Pre 2 is now available on Verizon Wireless in the US. The handset is available for $149.99 on a 2-year contract. This handset is pretty outdated since HP just announced the Pre 3 last week. Keep in mind that it's available on HP's own site for $99.99 on a 2-year contract; if you're still interested then check it out on Verizon.

Acer Set To Launch Their Windows Phone 7 Handset In September Or October

An Acer spokesperson talked to Pocket-Lint and told them some pretty great information that you should have already read in the title. They said that they'll be launching their first Windows Phone 7 handset in September / October of this year. Of course, specs for said smartphone are unknown right now but they should be pretty good seeing how Microsoft has outlined minimum specs for this OS. This is actually great news because the major WP7 update (Mango) will already be available at that time so you'll be getting quite a refined OS by the time this one hits stores.

It arrived a day late but it's not a big deal. T-Mobile USA has just released their latest prepaid handset and it's the Nokia X2 which packs a QWERTY keyboard. It's available on the carrier right now (here) for $79.99. The X2 features a 2.4-inch display, a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 2.1 support, a VGA camera, and the Symbian OS. Motorola Atrix 4G Officially Launching On February 22nd For $199

It leaked yesterday and it's now official. BGR has gotten official word that the Motorola Atrix 4G will really be hitting AT&T on February 22nd. It'll be launching on the carrier for $199.99 on a 2-year contract with HSPA+ connectivity. Of course, beneath the 4-inch qHD display you'll also be getting a powerful dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset, 1GB of RAM, and Android 2.2 with the MOTOBLUR UI. It's definitely a great smartphone for the price.
