Motorola EX112, EX115, and EX245 Get Scoped Out

Some Motorola handsets have just leaked out and they're going to be hitting Brazil sometime in the future. First up is the Motorola EX112 (pictured above on the left) will be available in two variants, the other is the EX115, which sports dual-SIM card slots, a 3MP camera, quad-band GSM connectivity, and a full QWERTY keypad. The EX245 is the handset on the right and it sports a touchscreen display, a 3MP camera, and a widget-based homescreen which is similar to Android. These handsets will be hitting Brazil soon - like I said - but there's no word on the price tags or the exact release dates.

Telus Looking To Launch the HTC Desire On August 3rd?

It's unconfirmed right now but Telus could be planning to launch the Android-based HTC Desire on August 3rd. This is just 5 days away and will likely cost you $79.99 on a 3-year contract. The contract-free price is said to be around $450 so that's a pretty sweet deal if it's true. These are all rumours right now so we'll just have to wait.

Asus Eee PC 1015PED and 1018P Netbooks Now Available and Shipping From Amazon

Amazon is now offering two netbooks from, you guessed it, Asus. The Eee PC 1015PED is going for anywhere between $429 and $465.40 (here), while the 1018P is going for $527.80 (here). First, the 1015PED netbook sports Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz / N475 1.83GHz CPU options, Bluetooth 3.0 support, and a 6-cell battery. The 1018P, on the other hand, sports a 10.1-inch display (1,024 x 600 resolution), an Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz CPU, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, a 250GB HDD, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, and three USB ports. Both netbooks seem a bit expensive for what they're offering but it's up to you if you want to purchase one.

Motorola DROID 2 Cases Start Hitting Best Buy Stores -- Manual Leaks Out Too!

There's nothing left to tell you that the title didn't already say. You know that Verizon will be launching the Motorola DROID 2 soon (sometime in August) and Best Buy has just confirmed that. They have a case that's now available for the phone that will be available in a couple of weeks.

Update: According to Droid-Life, the manual for the DROID 2 has just leaked out. Swype and Android 2.2 will be pre-loaded on the smartphone so that's great news - along with the skin that the DROID X has (some variant of MOTOBLUR). Check out the manual here (it's a PDF)

Get the Samsung Intensity 2 On Verizon For $49.99 Now

As expected, Verizon in the US is now offering the Samsung Intensity 2 and it's available for $49.99 on a 2-year contract after rebates. The handset packs a 2.2-inch display along with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard so it should be fine for you if you love texting. You can check it out on Verizon's website when you're ready.

Asus Eee PC 1015PD and 1001PQ Netbooks Pop Up On Official Website

Ahh, another netbook from Asus, who would've guessed. The Eee PC 1015PD is sporting a 10-inch display with Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz / N475 1.83GHz CPU options, integrated Intel GMA 3150 graphics, 1GB / 2GB of DDR3 RAM, 160GB / 250GB / 320GB HDD options, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, and a bunch of 3 / 6-cell battery options. It's just another one of those netbooks that might get lost in the bunch seeing how Asus has about a million different netbooks.

Other specs include a 0.3MP webcam, a 1,024 x 600 resolution, VGA output, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, audio jacks, an SDHC card slot, and Windows 7 Starter Edition. The product page is on Asus' website if you're interested.

Update: Another netbook has been spotted on Asus' website and it's the Eee PC 1001PQ - special thanks to Electronista. This netbook sports standard specs like a 10.1-inch display, an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU, 160GB / 250GB HDD options, WiFi / Bluetooth 2.1 support, a 3-cell battery, and Windows 7 Starter Edition. You can also opt for the larger 9-cell battery which will last 9 hours. The netbook itself will be available in Vibrant Gold (above) and Flame Purple.

Nintendo Announces When They'll Be Announcing the 3DS Release Date and Pricing

Yes, I hope that title didn't confuse you. A Nintendo spokesman told Bloomberg Japan that they'll be announcing the 3DS pricing and release date on September 29th. Engadget has mentioned that rumoured pricing right now pegs the 3DS to be around $300 and the release date could be anywhere from October 2010 to March 2011. Well, Nintendo will make it official in exactly two months.

LG's Optimus Android Tablet Coming In Q4 Of This Year

This morning LG announced the Optimus Z handset in Korea and they've also announced an Android-based tablet that will be a part of the Optimus Series as well. This tablet will be launching in Q4 of this year (presumably with version 3.0 "Gingerbread") but there's no word if that will be the Korea-only launch. We'll have to wait for a bit more information over the next couple of months.

Nokia Taking Pre-Orders For their N8, Four European Countries On the List Now

If you're interested then you can now pre-order the Nokia N8 smartphone if you live in Italy. It's up on Nokia's official website but it actually won't be shipping until September. The smartphone is powered by Symbian^3 and is up for €469 ($609 USD) if you want to pick one up. It's a bit more expensive than first though but don't forget that the N8 packs a 3.5-inch nHD touchscreen display along with a 12MP camera on the back.

Update: Unwired View has pointed out that a bunch of other European countries can now pre-order the Nokia N8. France can now pre-order it for €459 ($601 USD), Germany for €479 ($627 USD), and even Poland for 1,999 PLN (€502 and $657 USD).
