Sony Ericsson txt pro Hits Chatr As "The Speedster" For $125

Chatr has released their latest handset and this time it's coming from Sony Ericsson. The txt pro (CK15a) is now available as "The Speedster" even though there isn't a speedy CPU inside of it. They're likely referring to you being able to text message fast though, since it features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard that you'll be able to use. It also features a 3-inch touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera, WiFi support, and Facebook / Twitter integration. This one's available for $125 contract-free which isn't bad at all. Asus Unveils the N55SF and N75SF Notebooks, High Price Tag

Asus has decided that today was a good day to unveil a bunch of new notebooks. They've introduced the 15.6-inch N55SF and the 17.3-inch N75SF which are both packing up to a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 resolution) along with an HD webcam and Intel Core 2011 CPU options.

The laptops also feature some high-end tech (USB Charger+, instant-on, ICEpower) so maybe that's why it's so expensive. The 15.6-incher is set to be available later this month for €1,100 or $1,500 USD, while the larger one will be available next month (October) for €1,350 or $1,800 USD.

Sharp Unveils the Aquos SH8298U 3D Smartphone For Japan's SoftBank

PocketNow has just mentioned that Sharp has another 3D Android smartphone on the way. Dubbed the Sharp Aquos SH8298U, this one's set to hit Japan's SoftBank carrier sometime in the future. This smartphone should feature a 1.4GHz Snapdragon CPU, Adreno 205 graphics, 512MB of RAM, a 4.2-inch qHD glasses-free 3D display, an 8MP 3D camera, and Android 2.3. Sharp should bring some of their 3D smartphones on this side of the world.

LG Marquee Could Be the Optimus Black For Sprint

Although it's not official yet, it looks like Sprint will be getting the LG Marquee sometime in the future. The smartphone is officially unknown right now but Android Central has mentioned that this very well could be the LG Optimus Black. It looks like that's pretty likely right now so we'll just have to wait for the official word from the carrier.

HTC Vigor Hits the FCC, Sporting Verizon LTE (4G)

Looks like Verizon's upcoming 4G (LTE) smartphone has just hit the FCC. This time around we're talking about the HTC Vigor which should feature a 4.3-inch display (1,280 x 720 resolution), 1GB of RAM, a dual-core 1.5GHz CPU, 16GB of internal storage, an 8MP camera, a front-facing camera, and the Android OS. The release date for this one is unknown right now but it could hit the US carrier sometime in October.

HTC Pucinni / Jetsream LTE Hitting Rogers In the Future

Mobile Syrup has just picked up some new information regarding the first LTE tablet which will be hitting Rogers in Canada. Yes, it looks like it'll be the HTC Pucinni which could be hitting the carrier in the near future. The tablet is pretty expensive on AT&T in the US so expect it to be one of the more expensive tablets on the Canadian market.

The Pucinni / Jetstream will feature LTE (4G) connectivity along with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, a dual-core 1.5GHz CPU, an 8MP camera, a front-facing 1.3MP camera, 32GB of internal storage, and Android 3.1.

Motorola Wilder Android Handset Will Protect Itself From Water

Motorola has just unveiled the Wilder, which is an Android-based and slightly rugged handset. This one reportedly features a 2.8-inch QVGA display, a 2MP camera, 5MB of storage, and a microSD card slot. This handset is also splash-resistant and will cost just €89 which is about $126 USD. HTC Holding a Press Event On September 20th, Hopefully New Devices Are On the Way

HTC's last event may have been lackluster since all they did was talk about their devices having Beats Audio. The company is gearing up for another event on September 20 and this time they should definitely bring some of their latest toys. It's unknown whether it'll be a Windows Phone 7 Mango device or if it'll be an Android-based one so we'll have to wait for them to spill the beans.
