Asus Eee Transformer Prime 700T Gains a 1,920 x 1,200 Resolution Display

If you recently bought an Asus Eee Transformer Prime then you're out of luck. At CES 2012, Asus announced an updated Transformer Prime, the 700T, which features a high-res 1,920 x 1,200 resolution display. Internals generally stay the same but the display is a welcome upgrade. Inside, you'll find the same Tegra 3 CPU, 32GB / 64GB storage options, WiFi / Bluetooth support, an 8MP camera, a front-facing 2MP camera, and will be shipping with Android "Ice Cream Sandwich" when it comes in Q2 of this year. This one will cost you $599 (32GB) and $699 (64GB) if you're interested.

Bell Releases the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE For $429

Bell has just released their first tablet running on their LTE (4G) network. It's the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE which is now available for $429.95 on a 3-year contract or $649.95 contract-free. The tablet itself packs an 8.9-inch display with a 1,280 x 800 resolution, a 3MP camera, a front-facing 2MP camera, a dual-core 1.5GHz CPU, and Android "Honeycomb". Lenovo Unveils Three New Android Devices, Set For China

Lenovo has just unveiled three new devices that are, obviously, all running the Android OS. The first one is a 5-inch tabletphone that packs a WVGA LTPS display along with a dual-core Qualcomm 1.2 GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 5MP camera, a front-facing 1.3MP camera, a 1,680mAh battery, microUSB / microHDMI ports, HSPA+, and Android "Gingerbread". This one's being called the LePad S2005 and is set for China Unicom soon.

That's not all though. They've also announced the LePad S2007 and S2010 which are 7 and 10-inch tablets, respectively. They both pack a Qualcomm dual-core 1.5GHz CPU, a 1,280 x 800 resolution display, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP camera, a front-facing 1.3MP camera, dual-mode 3G, and Android 3.2 "Honeycomb". Keep in mind that all three of these devices are set to hit China before the end of this year so you can look out for them pretty soon.

Rogers has just released another tablet running Android "Honeycomb". This time it's the Acer Iconia Tab A501 which packs a 10.1-inch display with a 1,280 x 800 resolution, a Tegra 2 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 5MP camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, HSPA+ support, and WiFi / Bluetooth. This tablet is reportedly exclusively available at WirelessWave, Tbooth wireless, and WIRELESS etc. If you're willing to pick it up then you better have a few bills ready.

On November 16, T-Mobile USA will be releasing their "budget" tablet and it's the Springboard. The tablet is made by Huawei and will be priced at $179.99 on a 2-year contract after rebates. In case you forgot, this tablet packs a 7-inch display, a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, 16GB of storage, a 5MP camera, a front-facing 1.3MP camera, HSPA+ support, and Android "Honeycomb". Acer Iconia Tab A200 Leaks, Could Be a Budget "Honeycomb" Tablet

An unannounced Acer Android "Honeycomb" tablet has leaked today and it's reportedly the Iconia Tab A200. This tablet is, obviously, expected to have Bluetooth / WiFi support but the rest of the specs are unknown right now. It looks like it does have a front-facing camera though so there's a possibility that there's a rear-facing camera as well. It looks like a simple model so it could be a cheap one but we'll just have to see what happens whenever this one gets official.

Motorola Announces the XOOM 2 and XOOM 2 Media Edition Tablets

Motorola has just announced two new tablets that leaked a few months ago. Yes, it's the XOOM 2 and the XOOM 2 Media Edition. First off, the XOOM 2 packs a 10.1-inch display while the Media Edition features a smaller 8.2-incher. Inside they both have a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 5MP camera, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, 16GB of storage, and Android 3.2 "Honeycomb". They're both under 9mm thin (8.8mm for the XOOM 2 and 8.9mm for the Media Edition) and will be hitting the UK and Ireland in mid-November. The US release date is unknown right now and they didn't announce the price but the XOOM 2 should be €399.

Samsung has just announced that they're bringing another Android tablet to the US. It's the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus which is set to hit the nation on November 13th for $399.99 and it's the WiFi-only model. Other specs include a 7-inch display with a 1,024 x 600 resolution, 16GB of storage, a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, and Android "Honeycomb". The tablet will be hitting a bunch of different retailers including Best Buy, Amazon, Tiger Direct, and Fry's.

T-Mobile USA has just made two more upcoming tablets official. It's the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G (above) and the Springboard which is actually just a Huawei MediaPad. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a 10.1-inch display with a 1,280 x 800 resolution, a 3MP camera, a front-facing 2MP camera, a dual-core 1GHz CPU, Android "Honeycomb" and obviously HSPA+ support. The Springboard, on the other hand, sports a 7-inch display, a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm CPU, a 5MP camera, a front-facing 1.3MP webcam, an SD card slot, Android "Honeycomb", and HSPA+ support. The prices for both of these are unknown right now but it should be available before the upcoming Holiday season.

Looks like T-Mobile USA could be planning to release an Android tablet by Huawei. TMoNews has just mentioned that this tablet is said to feature a 7-inch IPS display with a 1,280 x 800 resolution, HSPA+ connectivity, a dual-core CPU, and Android "Honeycomb". This one seems pretty good but could feature a cheap build quality since it's expected to launch for $199.99 on a 2-year contract before the end of the year.

Two upcoming devices for Rogers in Canada have just been priced. It's the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE and the HTC Jetstream which are both pretty great devices. The Galaxy S II LTE will be available in the future for $199.99 on a 3-year contract and $649.99 contract-free while the Jetstream will be available on October 18th for $499.99 on a 3-year contract and $799.99 contract-free. The smartphone is fortunately regularly-priced, while the tablet is definitely expensive. Look out for them soon!

Toshiba has just announced their latest Android tablet and it's another Thrive. This time around it's the Thrive 7 which is running Android 3.2 "Honeycomb" and it sports a 7-inch display with a 1,280 x 800 resolution. The tablet also features a Tegra 2 CPU, 16GB / 32GB of storage, WiFi / Bluetooth / GPS support, a microSD card slot, and miniUSB / miniHDMI ports. This one will be available in early December for under $400 and looks like it'll also support an external keyboard which isn't surprising.

Asus Unveils TOUGH 7-Inch Android Rugged Tablet

Looks like Asus has just announced another Android tablet and this one's the TOUGH ETBW11AA. If you can get passed the name then you'll realize that it's a 7-inch tablet running the Honeycomb OS. This tablet should also be quite rugged and will pack a 1,280 x 800 resolution, a Tegra 2 CPU, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth support, GPS, a 5MP camera, and a 7,400mAh battery. The tablet is pretty darn thick because it tries to be very rugged with its rubber body. This one is set to hit Japan this November but the price is unknown right now.

Motorola Prepping Two New Android Tablets; XOOM 2 With a Media Edition Model

Apparently there could actually be two new tablets from Motorola that could be on their way to the market soon. They're both being touted as the XOOM 2 right now and one claims to be a Media Edition. The first one is above, coming from Droid-Life. This one's said to pack a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 9mm thin body, an "HD" rear-facing camera, a front-facing camera, and an 11-hour battery life. It's also set to be the world's first tablet to ship with support for Adobe's Flash Player 11 and will be capable of streaming Netflix in HD. Impressive stuff.

Moving along, it looks like Engadget has claimed the first pictures of the Media Edition Motorola tablet which is said to be sporting an 8.2-inch HD IPS display. Furthermore, it should also weigh just 0.95 pounds which makes it quite portable. This one could find a home at Verizon in the US so maybe it'll also sport LTE (4G). The body's said to be made of magnesium / aluminum which go great with its Gorilla Glass display - and it's splash-resistant. The release date for this one is unknown right now but it should be fairly soon.
