Cellular South Releases the Motorola Milestone For $150
Fresh off the heels of Verizon's Motorola DROID going out of stock, Cellular South in the USA has picked up and released the Motorola Milestone for $149.99 on a 2-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate (here). This handset sports the exact same spec sheet - it just has a different name. You'll get a 3.7-inch touchscreen display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a microSD card slot (8GB card in the box), and Android 2.1. This is definitely a bit late to the party considering that Verizon has already released the Motorola DROID 2. Oh well.

Cellular South has just announced that they'll be launching the Samsung Galaxy S, which shouldn't be surprising since just about every other carrier will be getting it. Considering that Cellular South is a CDMA carrier it could be the same Galaxy S variant that Verizon is getting - dubbed the Fascinate. Look out for it in the next couple of weeks / months.

Cellular South Launching the Motorola Milestone In the Near Future
Cellular South will be releasing the Motorola Milestone and they've just officially announced it - after hinting it at us back in mid-May. This handset is "coming soon" but the price is still unknown. This is pretty good but I'm assuming that it'll be launched with Android 2.1.

Cellular South To Launch the Motorola Milestone
Cellular South just showed off a unique way to announce their latest handset. They have unofficially announced that they'll be launching the Motorola Milestone. As you can see in the Facebook message below, the first letter of every line spells out "MILESTONE." This is good pick up for them, so look out for it in the future.

Cellular South announced something yesterday that was fairly shocking. They announced that they would be launching the newly designed HTC Hero that will also be hitting Sprint. This small carrier will be the third carrier in the US to have an Android handset which - I think - is a pretty big feat. Congrats to them. Check out their announcement here.
