Okay, so we all know about the HTC Touch Pro 2 and apparently Orange UK could be launching this handset in the near future. As you can see, the specs haven't changed so it's still running WinMo 6.5 Professional with the outdated Qualcomm 528MHz CPU along with no upgrade to WinPho 7. Launching this handset would've been a good choice a couple of months ago, but it's a bit outdated now - still pretty decent though. Telus is coming up big on these inventory leaks lately so it's good news to us that they haven't stopped yet. It looks like Canada will be getting access to the HTC Triumph (never heard of before) and the white HTC Touch Pro 2 (never seen before). We know nothing about the Triumph and Touch Pro 2 should be the same as the original except for the new colour.

First up, we're hearing rumours that Canada's Telus will be relaunching the HTC Touch Pro 2 with an HSDPA model which will be capable of taking advantage of their new and faster network. This model should also bring video-calling capabilities as well.

Finally! It looks like US Cellular has just launched the HTC Touch Pro 2. It's now available for $199.95 on a 2-year contract after a $70 mail-in rebate. Check it out on US Cellular's website.

It looks like we've got some bad news for Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 owners. Sprint has just announced that they will be launching the WinMo 6.5 upgrade in "early 2010." This is bad news because those customers will be stuck with WinMo 6.1 in the meantime. Luckily, Sprint has also mentioned that they're look on bringing WinMo 7 ASAP, which is as soon as Microsoft allows [and releases] it.

We've already heard that US Cellular will be launching the HTC Touch Pro 2 and there's even a bit more good news. US Cellular was smart enough to have WinMo 6.5 pre-installed on this handset, and unlike AT&T there's the inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack. US Cellular is planning to launch this handset in mid-November - like November 11th or the 21st.

Finally! AT&T has just released the HTC Tilt 2 (Touch Pro 2) for $299.99 USD on a 2-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate. This handset comes equipped with WinMo 6.5 and, clearly, an expensive price tag. Go and get yours here.

According to the latest news that Boy Genius has scooped up, AT&T will be releasing the HTC Tilt 2 aka Touch Pro 2 on October 8 (with WinMo 6.5 pre-installed, hence the "Windows Phone"), which is just two days away. I don't know where they got this information from, but they said they scooped it up on an internal document dated October 2nd - see above. I'll update this post later today if more news about it pops up. Who's excited for the WinMo 6.5 launch today? I know I am, I just wish Microsoft would upgrade their software to support more than 65K colours.

According to the latest unconfirmed news, Sprint is looking to cut the price of their HTC Touch Pro 2 listing almost in half. It launched for $349.99 on a 2-year contract and the latest rumour states that they could be cutting this to $199.99 on a 2-year contract after all of the rebates take place. This would match Verizon's offering. That is all.

Update: Boy Genius has reported that this is actually confirmed. Starting tomorrow Sprint's HTC Touch Pro 2 will cost just $199.99 on a 2-year contract after rebates. This matches the price of Verizon's offering, but the difference here is that Sprint actually has them in stock. Next up, T-Mobile's turn to cut their price too.

Update: Even though we heard this morning that Sprint would be cutting the price of the Touch Pro 2 to $199 on a 2-year contract I've got some bad news for you. Mobile Crunch is reporting that this price drop will only be in effect to customers who have 100+ lines of service aka only big companies and corporations. That definitely sucks for the average user, but oh well. Get a Verizon one. Just in case, we can wait until tomorrow if you don't believe me.

Out of all of the US carriers currently offering the HTC Touch Pro 2, Verizon has the cheapest at just $199.99 on a 2-year contract. This low price helped them sell out of the handset fairly quickly. The latest unconfirmed news is stating that they're going to have the Touch Pro 2 in stock starting on Saturday, so be on the look out for it if you're interested.
