Although you can still get it for free on LetsTalk, Amazon also has the HTC Pure pretty cheap. It's now available on their website for $0.01 USD - yup, just 1 cent on a 2-year contract. This phone is a good start for WinMo 6.5, it just sucks that it doesn't a 3.5mm headphone jack. Check it out on Amazon here.

Windows Marketplace Already Available On WinMo 6.5 Handsets, Not That Many Apps Right Now

Labels: , , , , , ,

Even though it's set to officially launch tomorrow it looks like current WinMo 6.5 handsets already have Marketplace on-board. This could mean that the tipster has the new AT&T HTC Pure that launched yesterday or something like that. Well, whatever, that's not important. The Marketplace looks like it's already available, but there aren't that many apps right now...

AT&T Now Selling the HTC Pure With WinMo 6.5 Pre-Intalled For $149

Labels: , , , , , ,

The first WinMo 6.5 has reportedly been released on AT&T already, the HTC Pure - which is essentially the Touch Diamond 2. Keep in mind that it doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack, so you might want to wait for the Imagio or the sexy HTC HD2 / Leo. It's not available on the website yet, but it is available in stores for $149.99 USD on a 2-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate and $349.99 USD contract-free, which isn't that bad. However, you do have to to get a data plan which costs at least $30 a month.

AT&T's HTC Pure Doesn't Have a 3.5mm Headphone Jack, Music Lovers Weep

Labels: , , ,

This is definitely bad news for those looking to buy the AT&T HTC Pure. It looks like it does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Fortunately it will be outed with WinMo 6.5 and it should be launching fairly soon. If you're still interested, be on the look out for it. Have fun using those default headphones now...

AT&T HTC Pure Pictured In Reality, Already Arriving At AT&T Stores?

Labels: , , , , ,

Here's what I believe to be the first pictures of the AT&T-bound HTC Pure in the wild. It appears to be a variant of the HTC Touch Diamond 2 - probably the same specs with a slightly different look. Anyways, reports are stating that the HTC Pure are starting to appearing at AT&T stores. This could hint at an October 6th launch with WinMo 6.5 pre-installed - but don't quote me on that.

Tilt 2 (Touch Pro 2) and Pure (Touch Diamond 2) Spotted on AT&T's Wireless Phone Insurance Form

Labels: , , , , ,

There's not much to say here, but the AT&T Tilt 2 (HTC Touch Pro 2) and the AT&T Pure (HTC Touch Diamond 2) were just spotted on AT&T's Wireless Phone Insurance Form. We know that they're planning to launch both handsets fairly soon, so this should come as no surprise.

First Photos of the AT&T HTC Pure Leak Out?

Labels: , , ,

Just two days ago, we heard that AT&T will be launching the HTC Pure which is going to be a variant of the Touch Diamond 2. Apparently, this could be the HTC Pure; however, in this photo, these Pure's are in their cases. This handset is expected to launch by the end of next month (October) on AT&T for $149.99 on a 2-year contract after rebates with Windows Mobile 6.5.

Update: According to Engadget Mobile this handset above is already available in the UK on T-Mobile as the MDA Compact V. Surprisingly enough, this could also be the HTC Pure that AT&T could be launching.

AT&T Pricing Details on HTC Tilt 2, HTC Pure, and Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60 Leak

Labels: , , , , , , , ,

AT&T is planning on launching a couple of big phones over the next month or so. This includes the HTC Tilt 2 (Touch Pro 2), the HTC Pure (Touch Diamond 2), and the Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60. According to the latest unconfirmed news, the HTC Tilt 2 will be launching for $299.99 USD on a 2-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate and $499.99 contract-free. The HTC Pure will be launching for $149.99 USD on a 2-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate and $349.99 contract-free. Lastly, the long-delayed Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60 will be launching for $299.99 USD on a 2-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate and $549.99 USD contract-free. All three of these handsets are expected to launch by the end of the next month, but don't be surprised if the G60 gets delayed again... and again.

I think the Tilt 2 and G60 are fairly overpriced, but the HTC Pure seems reasonable. What do you think?
