Dell Adamo, The Grinch That Stole My Christmas
Today, there were some more rumours that surfaced, regarding the Dell Adamo netbook / notebook. It may feature a Blu-Ray Drive and some recent leak, suggested that the base price of the Adamo will be around $1500 USD. If this is the case, the Adamo will be about $300 lower than the Macbook Air. This price difference may not be as 'significant' as expected, but it definitely has a more respectful specification chart than the Macbook Air. Another rumour mentions that the Adamo will be revealed at the CES next year. Hopefully it happens.
So, last night [or this morning], i slept at 6:45 a.m. watching Russell Peters [again] and Dane Cook with my girlfriend. She slept at around 5:30 a.m. and i was up for just over another hour because i was playing Hot Shots Golf on Playstation 2, since i didn't receive the PS3, from the grinch. 'The Grinch' being my mother, for single-handedly ruining my Christmas. Although, the last half of my Christmas was good because of my girlfriend's family and my cousin's. So today, i woke up at about 6 p.m. because my girlfriend went to Pacific Mall. She called me about 3 or 4 times during the day while i was sleeping and i woke up each time. The first time she called she was in the cell-phone store. Pacific Mall is, generally, an asian mall, so that's the mall to go to if you're looking for a new (originally not out in Canada) unlocked cell-phone. She called me because she asked me what the name of the phone that i wanted was. I told her the 'HTC Touch HD.' Anyways, she picked up a 'Sony' phone and i quickly asked her if it was the 'Sony XPERIA X1' and, obviously, i was correct and her brother commented saying, "How did he know that?" I love when people say that, but i don't know why. It makes me feel as if i'm more tech-saavy than the average person, which i feel, that i am. Anyways, after that, she had to go. She called me 2 other times, once after she got her hair coloured and the other reason was just to talk. Anyways, i think i should've stayed at my cousin's house. I think this because my girlfriend's exhausted right now and taking a nap, leaving me with absolutely nothing to do. I want her to sleep, but i mean, i haven't talked to her all day and it's going to be the same thing for probably the next week, since she's going to be busy. I feel bad for having to make her stay up today, but i just miss her so much, since we didn't get to talk at all today. Well, i don't know, maybe i'll just talk to her for an hour, we'll see. I should've stayed at my cousin's though because: that way my girlfriend would be able to sleep, i'd actually have something to do [thanks to Aldric] and the only reason why i went home was so i could talk to my girlfriend. Anyways, that's my blog for today, someone save me from boredom. Maybe Hot Shots Golf can help me before i go to sleep in about 2 hours. Soft, i know.

Sony's New Netbook, Lenovo OPhone, A Wallet
Sony has actually unintentionally confirmed the new Vaio netbook. It is going to be 8 inches and will sport a wide 1600x768 resolution. It packs a 1.33 GHz Intel processor and has a 60GB hard drive. It's pretty cool but on the other hand, i think it's too small for someone like me to use. Looking at this picture kind of tells me that it will be good to have on-the-fly and that female's can put it in their purses, or whatever. So yeah, this new netbook will be pretty small, it can probably fit in a big pocket, i guess. Hmm, seeing how it is Sony it will probably be overpriced, but eh, that's just what i think.
So, Lenovo will release a new phone, the Lenovo OPhone. The OPhone is just 1 mm thicker than the iPhone 3G and packs many more features. The OPhone, to me, looks uglier than the iPhone but it does have a 5MP camera with a flash. It may be a good competitor, but i think many people will agree with me and say that, currently, the iPhone can't be brought down. The iPhone's specifications may be lacking, but it makes up for it with it's awesome OS and fluidity. Don't even get me started on all of the applications that the iPhone has. It is pretty much a gaming console and i don't think Lenovo will scare Apple one bit. The iPhone is just too packed with applications and games. The Lenovo OPhone is pictured on the left side and it is located in the middle of the 2 iPhones.
So, after getting home after driving over black ice last night, i ended up going to bed at about 4:30 a.m. I woke up this morning at 11:42 and i've been trying to install Greasemonkey on Google Chrome. Up to now, i still don't know how to install the scripts, but hopefully i'll be able to get it soon after i write this blog. Anyways, me and my mom haven't talked much today, i haven't even told her 'Merry Christmas,' but i guess i already did last night. Does that count? Anyways, she walked into my room and handed me this small box thing. I opened it and it revealed that she gave me a wallet with $50 CAD inside. Yay. I was so excited... not. Why would i need a wallet, seriously? I'm already fine with my fake Lacoste wallet, but she gets me another one anyway. I am probably not going to ask her for a ride to my girlfriend's house later because i don't really want to talk to her. But, ehh, i'll just bus, it's okay. I know tonight will be fun and i can't wait to get to my girlfriend's place later today. It really doesn't feel like Christmas, but i don't know. I hope that my 2 best friend's are having a good Christmas and i wish you ALL a Merry Christmas! Greasemonkey struggling, here i come [again!].

Mass, Blackberry, Christmas and Black Ice
Since my last blog, i had to do something until church mass started. So, i shoveled the driveway and since my girlfriend had to clean her house for her Christmas party tomorrow, i went to take a nap. I took a nap until about 5:50 p.m. with minimal interruptions, which was fascinating. But, on the other hand, i really missed my girlfriend (i talk about her a lot don't i? =D). Anyways, i woke up and had to get ready since i had to go to mass soon. We left around 6:20 p.m. filipino time, so in real time it was about 6:40 p.m. (filipino time refers to being later than average). We left a bit late because me and my mom just had to take pictures before we left, it was just that important. Anyways, we got to mass which was at the school in Brampton, St. Edmund Campion. I saw the rest of my family there, but i decided not to say anything because i was too lazy to walk all the way to where they were seated. So, i went through the whole mass until it was right before Communion and this is when my cousin, Aldric, usually goes to the bathroom. Sure enough, he had to go and he and his dad spotted us, since they walked right by us. So, since they saw us, we had to move to where they were. I didn't mind. Anyways, we got there and after Communion i saw the hottest girl, besides my girlfriend, that is. She was really pretty, but then i saw her boyfriend and it ruined all of that fun. Oh man, i forgot one thing! Okay, we have to backtrack to the Homily, which is the part where the priest talks about anything random in the middle of the mass. So, there was this black family and there were 5 of them: mother, father and their 3 sons. The middle-aged son was wearing red, matching his mother. The oldest son was wearing white, matching his father. But, the youngest son was wearing bright green, he was the entertainer of the night, for me at least. He would stand up, jump around, flail his arms and he actually made me laugh. Me and my mom were sitting in the back and there just happened to be a pole in the middle of the hallway. Of course, this kid was wild enough that he actually started to run backwards, little did he know, he was about to hit a pole. Well, about 2 seconds later, he hits the pole. Fortunately though, he went back-first and not head-first into it. Anyways, back to that girl i saw. The mass finished and i pointed the girl out to my cousin, Cathleen, and i asked her how in the world she was with that guy. She was also curious as to why she chose him and she said, "What if that's her brother?" I didn't really have time to think about that. Well, anyways, that would be the last time i see her. After mass, we drove to Cathleen's place and that's where we hit the half-time marker of this post.
After mass, me and my mom made our way over to my cousin's house. As soon as we got in the house, everyone ate right away. After we finished eating, we watched 'The Dark Knight' on Blu-Ray in 1080p on Aldric's PS3. Earlier, i asked Aldric if he downloaded Playstation Home, which came out like 2 weeks ago. He said, "No." and asked what 'Home' was. After telling him that it was like The Sims and that it was free, he got really excited and wanted it. Anyways, so we watched 'The Dark Knight' and when the movie finished it was already 11:50 p.m. My oh my, where did the time go? Afterwards, we opened presents. Unfortunately, no PS3 for me. I got an Old Navy sweater, a teddy bear stuffed with $75 CAD and another $50 CAD. Not that much, but i don't expect much really. After all the presents were opened and all the pictures were taken, we had to go home. This is originally why i wanted to blog in the first place. 2 words: Black Ice. Black Ice is really scary stuff, especially when my mother is behind the wheel because i just hate the way she drives. So, we were driving home and first experienced black ice when she had to stop at a red stoplight and she skidded to the right lane. Amazing luck though because [1], there were no cars in the right lane and [2], the Yellow Neon in our left lane would've hit us because they also skidded to the right. Moving along, we see the aftermath of a car going over the island because it was probably trying to make a left turn to fast. Moving even more along, an '06 Honda Accord with an American license plate cruises by doing about 65 km/h. Everyone at this time was doing about 40 km/h, so he probably thought he was a big-shot. Unfortunately, it might have been his first time driving in Canada because he had to learn the hard way. He tried to stop at the next red stoplight and waddaya know, he skids through the red light cause he couldn't stop. Fortunately, no cars were coming in either direction. Me and my mom pass by him later and at this point he was doing about 25 km/h [LOL]. I'm not finished yet. 3 more stoplights later, we see the aftermath of a bus (yes, a bus) with the front end over the sidewalk because the driver was also probably trying to make a left turn too fast. Damn it, this is where i was just getting scared. I don't trust my mom driving on normal grounds, imagine what i was feeling when i saw this happening to other cars. So, up comes the part where she [my mom] has to make a right turn and we see the jeep in front of us do a 180 because he tried to use his brakes and they [Epic] failed him. Anyways, my mom made the right turn successfully and i called my girlfriend and told her all of the events that i just saw. Me my mom got home safely, but i actually almost slipped on the driveway. And that concludes my blog post for today. By the way, i still have to receive my present from my mom, so my PS3 dreams are not exactly finished yet, but i'm not expecting it anymore anyway. Well, i think 'The Dark Knight' made my Christmas Eve a bit better, since we were lacking on the family aspect of Christmas, but what can you do? I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Eve and i can't wait until tomorrow.
Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope that tomorrow will be a more exciting day. I'll hopefully be spending my night at the Natividad's [girlfriend's] place. =D

Burning Myself [By Accident], WoW, Day With Girlfriend =)
This morning was pretty much the same as every other morning. But, i did find out last night that i'm gonna be taking a bubble bath everyday this week because the plumber isn't coming back to finish the shower until Saturday! Kind of good news, but today, i actually didn't feel like having one. This morning i had a driving lesson at 10, so i had to wake up kind of early. I woke up at about 8 and i took my bubble bath. I felt the top of the water with my hand and i found it to be quite warm, so i figured that i could step or lie down in it now. When i put both of my feet in the water, it was really hot, but i told myself that i'd be able to take the heat. 5 seconds later, i jumped out of the water because it was just way too hot. My girlfriend was sleeping on the phone at that time, so i couldn't yell because i didn't want to wake her up. After that i made the water a bit cooler, by adding some cold water. Anyways, I was lying / sitting down in my bathtub having my bubble bath, but i was so lazy that i just wanted to get out. I don't know why, but i just felt like standing up and getting out of the tub. Too lazy to sit down? I didn't really know what was going on. Maybe it was my brain sending my body signals because of the recent feet burning that just took place. Well, anyways, i got out of the tub and i put my jeans on. That's when i realized that my feet might have gotten burned a little bit by the water because it hurt when my feet scraped along the edge of my jeans. After about an hour, it hit 10:00 a.m. and i had my driving lesson. Nothing too interesting about that, but i do have my G2 test next Monday, which i am mildly excited for. Wish me luck. Anyways, i went to my girlfriend's house afterwards and i'm going to talk about that later, after this brief intermission.

Journey, Google Earth, Good Ol' Christmas
So, today, i played a bit of WoW and i played terribly. After that, I pretty much slacked around at home. I went to Cathleen's and this was by far the most fun that i've had all day, except when i was talking to my baby on Skype. I went to Cathleen's house to get my haircut for tomorrow's dinner with Nikki, my girlfriend =D. But, anyways, yeah, i went to their house but seriously, their stories about basketball are just hilarious. Pretty much, the complete opposite of my mood when i'm here at home with just my mom. She's constantly yelling at me, blaming me for every bad thing that happens in the house, i'm really tired of it. I mean, yeah, she may work hard for me, but damn, cut me some slack please. Maybe it's just that time of the month, but still, it really pisses me off sometimes. Anyways, me and my mom went to the mall and she did some last minute shopping. I, of course, had to carry all the bags and some other package. So, in my left hand i was holding 7 plastic bags and under my arm i had the package. In my right hand was my cell phone. Very balanced, i know, thank you. Anyways, after all of that shopping, we went home. After reading my girlfriend's very interesting blog post today, i've decided to write my own. Before i rant, i'll do a quick talk about Google Earth.
So, Google Earth is a program that you can use to pretty much see anywhere in the world, it uses various satellites to do this. So, some scientists were using Google Earth and they discovered "an unknown green patch that turned out to be an unexplored forest home to brand new undiscovered species." The scientist, Julian Bayliss stated that there were "7,000 hectares of forest, rich in biodiversity." He also mentions that this forest was probably left unexplored because of it's "miserable terrain and constant civil war." They discovered 3 new species of butterflies, "a new Gaboon viper that can kill a human in a single bite, along with all kinds of other wildlife." Very interesting, but i wonder how they found out how this viper could kill a human in a single bite. Hopefully no one actually died in the process of this research. With Google Earth, you can pretty much see anywhere, anytime. Apparently, Google Earth does have it's downfall. The terrorists in the Mumbai bombing actually used Google Earth to plan out their acts. But, thanks to Google Earth, the streets can always be monitored. We might even be able to see inside your homes soon... oh wait, that maybe kind of stalker-ish... oh well.
Oh, Christmas is coming up. Only about 2 more days and Santa will be dropping down your chimney. Well, i hope everyone has their joy and what not. But, i do know that for our family, Christmas is dying. Whatever happened to the many presents under the tree? Well, my family has actually split up. Our family used to be in 3 houses, now we've separated into 7 (i think). My family doesn't spend Christmas all under one household anymore, and it sucks. This is not a good sign, because now there are really no gifts under the tree anymore and it's kind of sad. Fine, you know what? It's not about the gifts (Although, it seems that everyone in my family is going to be getting gift cards... yay). But, y'know what, my Christmas is really going to suck because the family spirit is gone. Let's forget about the gifts, whatever happened to the get-together's? Family parties? The hugs, smiles and laughs? All gone. Yeah, none of that this year. I remember the good days, when i was younger, we'd plan out who's house we'd sleep at for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Our whole family at one house, about 70 people under one roof. I took those days for granted because those were the days when Christmas was actually worth waiting for all year. Now, this year, it's going to be me, my mom, aunt, uncle and my 2 cousins, Cathleen and Aldric. Don't get me wrong, i'm definitely going to have fun, watching 'The Dark Knight' in 1080p Blu-ray, but wouldn't it better if the whole family was there, all of us cuddling together? I really miss those days and as i was in the mall with my mom, i was reflecting on it. It made me sad. Maybe, my Christmas won't suck as much as i think. I'm taking my girlfriend out for dinner tomorrow =D. For Christmas Eve, i'm headed to my cousin's place, as stated above. And for Christmas Day / Night, i'm going to be going to the Natividad's household. This Christmas won't generally 'suck' it just won't be the same as previous years. Don't get me wrong, i love my family and i love my girlfriend's family. But, i just wish that i could have my old family get-togethers back. I know that my girlfriend's family will really make this Christmas memorable for me and it'll make me feel as if i'm a part of a big family again because I miss those days. I really, really do.

Logitech G18, What is Playstation Home?
Before i talk about the Playstation Home, i'm just going to briefly talk about this new gaming keyboard, the Logitech G18. Engadget actually has no solid information on this piece of hardware, but it does look pretty sweet. As far as the backlights go, i think it would be better off with a good shade of blue, over the red, which is seen in this pic. Maybe that's just me, since it just matches with everything else in my room. I'm liking the look of the new keyboard screen though, it tilts enough so that you can see it perfect from where you should, generally, be sitting. I wonder if the keyboard pad, or whatever, on the left side of the picture, is optional or if it is a keyboard set. All-in-one maybe? We'll see.
