Dell has just unveiled new Alienware M11x, M14x, and M18x notebooks and they're exactly what we thought they'd be. In a San Francisco event this morning, they all got official and they're all gaming powerhouses. These will be more than enough to run Portal 2 so there's no need to worry. They all pack Intel's "Sandy Bridge" CPUs, Nvidia GPUs with Optimus tech, and the two larger models have Wireless HD.

The M11x and M14x are available right now for $999 and $1,199, respectively, while the larger model will be available in May for a more expensive price. You'll also be getting 8 hours and 6 hours, respectively, if you're not gaming. Furthermore, the M18x notebook comes with a factory overclocked 4GHz CPU which is absolutely insane.

We already know everything there is to know about Dell's Alienware M14x and M18x and the gaming notebooks have just been dated. Pocket-Lint has reportedly heard that the notebooks will be officially announced on April 19th which is just a few days away. Prices aren't confirmed yet but the larger model should be right around $2,000. Look out for both machines to be available near you soon!

Thanks to Dell Canada's website, the Alienware M14x and M18x were leaked this morning. The page has been pulled since then but the launch could be fairly soon. Specs are right on par with what we've heard countless times. The larger model features an Intel Core i7 2.8GHz CPU, 4GB of DDR3 RAM (up to 8GB), a 320GB HDD (up to 750GB), and a GeForce GTX 460M GPU or dual AMD Radeon HD 6970M graphics if you're interested. Specs for the M14x should be just about the same as its big brother but don't expect dual GPUs because there won't be enough room for it.

Alienware is looking like they're almost set to launch M14x and M18x notebooks to various parts of the world. Notebook Italia got these photos and they look traditional Alienware style. Specs aren't confirmed right now but they'll, of course, be sporting 14 and 18-inch displays, respectively. Both of them should have options for Intel "Sandy Bridge" CPUs along with powerful GPUs for some hardcore gaming. The larger behemoth model is said to sport a 1080p (Full HD 1,920 x 1,080 resolution) display along with two AMD Radeon HD 6870M GPUs in CrossFire or dual GeForce GTX 460M GPUs in SLI. Beastly stuff. The smaller model should have options for AMD Radeon HD 6730M / 6770M GPUs along with GeForce GT 555M. Prices and release dates are still TBA.

A new leak has just outlined Alienware's latest notebook, the M17x R3. Apparently, this notebook will be a 17-inch model, ATI Mobility Radeon 6870 / 6970 GPU options, and even Wireless HD which is pretty awesome. Other specs are said to be an optional 3D display along with a 9-cell battery. CPU is unknown right now but you can expect a Core i7 of some kind inside of this. The release date is still unknown right now, but if it doesn't launch this year then you can expect it at CES 2011.

It looks like the Alienware M17x gaming notebook is now shipping with dual 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 GPUs if that's what you want. Of course, you'll have to choose this specifically if you want it because that's not in the base model. They're expensive -- rightfully so -- so save up your money and get one if you want to run whatever game you choose, even Crysis.

Apparently, Alienware could be updating their M11x gaming notebook. This notebook sports an 11.6-inch display and it could be sporting new Intel Core CPUs by June / July of this year. However, that's not all. It could also be sporting Nvidia's new Optimus technology so it'll be accompanied with the GeForce GT335M CPU. This is just a rumour right now, but it would greatly improve the performance and battery life of this notebook.

It looks like the Alienware M11x is up for pre-order right now. The small 11-inch gaming notebook starts at $799 and that'll get you an Intel Pentium SU4100 1.3GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, and a 160GB HDD. It'll cost you $100 more for an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.3GHz CPU, an extra $350 for 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and an extra $150 for a 500GB HDD. Pre-order yours here now - it'll hit your doorstep on March 1st!

Earlier this month we heard about Alienware planning their OptX AW2310 3D monitor. Well, if you pre-ordered yours already then you should be getting it soon since Dell is starting to ship them out now. In case you're interested, this monitor features a 23-inch Full HD 1080p display, a 3ms response time, and 120Hz technology. The monitor itself is $469 USD, but if you're looking for the power of 3D technology you'll have to dish out another $200.

We already knew that the Alienware M11x would be launching for less than $1,000 so many assumed - including me - that the base model would cost $999. Thankfully, Dell has managed to mention the official price and it will start at $799 USD. It's got the netbook look to it (sort of), but it blows other netbooks out of the water since it's a gaming netbook. It's sporting an 11-inch display, an Intel Core 2 Duo ULV CPU, swappable Nvidia GeForce GT335M graphics, and a battery life that should last 6.5 hours (only 2 hours of gaming though). It's pretty impressive and it'll weigh 4.5 pounds. The exact release date wasn't mentioned so you'll have to wait a little bit longer.

Update: According to Engadget, it looks like the Alienware M15x and M17x notebooks are now available with Intel's new Core i7 CPUs. The're available for $1,199 and $1,799, respectively; check out the M15x here and M17x here.

Dell has just unleashed a bunch of new products. Above are the new Dell Studio's which come in 14, 15, and 17-inch models. They'll be available later this month for $699, $849, and $949, respectively. They've also introduced the Inspiron 580 / 580s desktop PCs; they'll start at $269 and they're highly customizable. They've also unveiled a new desktop PC, the Studio XPS 8100, which includes a brand new Intel Core i5 CPU. This desktop will start at $749. Check them out here.

Dell has also updated their existing Alienware notebooks as well. The M15x and M17x can now be bought with the new Intel Core i5 / i7 CPUs. Along with this they have unveiled the new OptX AW2310 monitor which has support for Nvidia's 3D Vision technology. It's got a Full HD 1080p resolution, a contrast ratio of 80,000:1, 120Hz technology, 400 nits of brightness, HDMI / DVI ports, audio jacks, and four USB 2.0 ports. You can go out and get this monitor now for $499.

At Dell's press event this morning at CES they showed off their latest gaming Alienware notebook - the M11X. It's actually more like a netbook considering its 11.6-inch display, but this thing is pretty loaded. Inside it's packing Nvidia GT335M swappable graphics, a battery life that's good enough for 6 hours (using the power saver mode) and 2 hours of hardcore gaming. Surprisingly enough this notebook will go for less than $1,000 when they launch it - whenever that is. Check out Engadget's hands-on here.

Along with this news the briefly mentioned that their Inspiron notebook line-up (the 13, 15, and 17-inch models) will get updated today to use Intel's new Core i3 / i5 CPUs. Below is a picture of when they teased their Streak MID on stage. Unfortunately they mentioned absolutely nothing about it. Nothing at all.

Update: Alienware has just officially announced the gaming m15x notebook, the new Area 51 / Area 51 ALX, and the Aurora / Aurora ALX  desktop PCs. In case you wanted to know, the m15x has a Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M GPU. Since I'm living the University life now, I won't have time to talk about it today. At TGS, Alienware is prepping yet another announcement that will "shake the gaming world to its foundation." I don't know what that means, but I'm betting it has something to do with a new desktop PC (with new Core i7's?) or a new laptop already. Or, y'know, Alienware could be announcing their first gaming console. Okay fine, I think it'll be a desktop PC. What do you think?

Update: According to Engadget, Alienware could be announcing a new Area-51 m15x gaming laptop, which is a 15-inch version of their m17x, and a new Area-51 X58 desktop PC. We'll just have to see what these two products will bring to us tomorrow.

The title says it all. Today, Alienware announced that it would open its first store "at the Micro Center near New York City" on July 25th, which is this Saturday. The store will be called the Alienware Experience and will give consumers a chance to try out Alienware's product "firsthand." "The first 500 visitors will get special Alienware T-shirts, gift bags and 2GB USB drives. Those who participate in the LAN games will also have [a chance] at winning extra prizes including PC games, speakers, keyboards, mice and headphones." Don't forget that the newest gaming laptop from Alienware, the M17x, will be on display at the store. The Alienware Experience will open this Saturday at 11:30 a.m. ET.

Remember the ultimate gaming notebook from Alienware, the M17x? A new colour has just popped up and it's exactly what you see above. Dell calls it "Nebula Red." I'm actually having trouble looking for this colour on Dell's American website, but Pocket Lint says that it will cost an extra $99 USD. On the Dell website there is a picture though, so expect the colour to be available any day now.

What better logo for a new monitor than Ryu from Street Fighter? Anyways, what you see here is Alienware's latest gaming monitor, the OptX AW2210. This 21.5-inch display has: 1080p capabilities (1,920 x 1,080 resolution), a 2ms response time, an 80,000:1 contrast ratio, and 300 nits of brightness. You'll, of course, find some ports on this monitor, including: dual HDMI, and 4 USBs. You can get this gaming monitor now for $299 USD. Take a look at another picture below.
